“I had a small room on the third floor, but wonderful Fabrice (the host-husband) generously offered to carry my bag. The room was clean and nice. There are many living spaces to enjoy outside the room too. The breakfasts were wonderful and fresh. Most importantly, location, location location. “This is a delightful bijou hotel with bags of character . Stephan and Isobel were really excellent hosts . They were excellent communicators and spoke English which was lovely because our French is a bit rusty. “We loved our stay at La Verrière. It’s tucked away in a secluded area with absolutely breathtaking views. It's an ideal spot to unwind and disconnect.
