"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"The house was perfect for our six week holiday. We loved the location but be advised that it’s about a mile from town. There’s a bus stop very close but we chose to walk. It’s located very near a butcher shop that has excellent meat and near a small grocery store that has many things. "The crashing waves against the rocks, the view of the moon and stars late at night, and the serenity this place provides make this one of my favorite places to have stayed during our vacation trip. If you're looking to stay somewhere away from the city crowd, enjoy the ocean's sound, and are not afraid to walk a ways to your destination, this is the place to stay. "Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Das einzige was man hörte, war Wellenrauschen. Es war noch besser als erwartet. Der Lavasandstrand ist nur ca. 50 m zu Fuß entfernt und schön zum Baden. Einziges "Manko": Durch die Nähe zum Meer ist es in der Wohnung feucht, einige Metallteile rosten, so sind z.B. die Fenster z.T. schwergängig. Es könnte etwas mehr Besteck und Teller geben.
