Lovely authentic winegrower's house with character dating from the 19th century, typical and carefully restored - with an enclosed garden with lawns & flowers with garden furniture shaded by a plane tree - nestled in a peaceful setting on the edge of a peaceful lane in the heart of 'a picturesque small wine-growing village in the upper Mâcon, a stone's throw from the first vineyards & the countryside (to discover during relaxing walks, on foot, by mountain bike or by bike!). Almost entirely built on Gallo-Roman foundations, Chissey-lès-Mâcon has the very rare feature of housing two elegant Romanesque churches classified from the 11th & 12th centuries (remarkable heritage wealth), one of which stands in front of the gîte, and enjoys a beautifully preserved landscaped setting, nestled on the wooded foothills of the southern Burgundy massif in the heart of the Clun countryside, in the hollow of a plateau of bucolic meadows, groves & vineyard slopes, surrounded by several wild forests (vast forests state-owned). Spacious gîte with good comfort. Charming country character punctuated with contemporary touches, furnished in an atypical & warm wooded mountain spirit. Pleasant, soft & restful atmosphere, inspired by cocoon chalet, mixed with the exotic character of an old house steeped in history. Composition: Terraced village house including 2 adjoining lodgings (total independence without vis-à-vis). Wireless. Electric heating + wood stove. Laundry room shared by the 2 gites including washing machine + dryer. Gite on raised ground floor (8 steps): kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190cm), bathroom (shower), separate toilet. Private enclosed garden. Shared bicycle room. Vacances à Chissey les Mâcon

Une semaine de visite ( châteaux, églises...) De promenades ( il y a des chemins partout), de dégustation de vins et de repos. Les paysages sont magnifiques et pour ceux qui aiment marcher il y a une multitude de possibilités. Ne pas rater Cluny ( nous y sommes allés trois fois) . La location est très agréable malgré le manque d'espace extérieur pour nos deux chiens ( la cour est toute petite). Petit bémol, les mouches et les moustiques ( prévoir le nécessaire). Un très beau séjour et merci au propriétaire pour les croissants.
