Lovely hotel and nice spa. Shame you have to pay extra to use it. Most staff lovely. Not 5* though. Sat in area bar but waiters chatting and I had to walk up to order a drink. And reception gave me a room half the size as the one I paid for. Cheeky. Nice enough though and still
Had a good stay overall. Perfect stay if going to watch Everton because it’s across the road.

Check in was smooth and staff member was pleasant. Hotel room very dated. Marks on walls. No sockets next to bed to charge phones.. The bed was 2 single bed pushed together was humped in middle and sagged on the sides. The room was too hot and stuffy unable to control the temperature despite contorller on the wall. Breakfast looked impressive but low quality produce was tasteless and disappointing. Would.not return to this hotel.
