Will never be cheap again

Posted Mar 11, 2017 on Orbitz
At first we chose this place out of convenience and closeness to the highways since my spouse and I Warehouse shopping up and Cleveland and we did not want to drive the hour and some change back and forth. Upon check-in are Bill total was less than what orbits had charged us up front and we are still trying to get a refund for the difference. We ended up checking out a day early because when it rained our bathroom ceiling completely rained on us and it was disgusting. Even though the staff moved us to another room at 2 a.m. it was a smoking room and my husband are non-smokers. The second room was no better the carpet was dirty there there was water damage on the ceiling and the window fixture was crooked barely hanging on. I had taken pictures to show the front desk staff upon checkout and the woman was appalled. Spend a few extra bucks for something nicer.

Close to where I was working. Other needs werte cl

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly. Brakefase was OK.
Cons: Too much to list.
Location: Food and fuel.
I stayed there three nights. My room was never cleaned. They gave me a different excuse each day. On the second day the water in my sink stopped working. A manager came to the room and fixed it. He was very rude. He acted like I should have been able to fix it myself. He never made a comment about them not cleaning the room except he offered clean towels. The whole hotel smells like cigarette smoke. The carpeting is worn and dirty.

Terrible!!!

Posted Feb 27, 2017 on CheapTickets
Within 2 hours had a bug crawling on me. Management refused to talk to us. The clerk Was told to refund our money, gave us bags to put our belongings in and gave us directions to a nearby laundromat. Next day we found out it was a bedbug from a pesticide business. Then we also found out they refunded our 3 days but put an unauthorised Charge on our credit card for a day that we stayed only 2 1/2 hours due to their bedbug issue. Ridiculous!!! Bed bugs happen, I know but it was the conduct and lying of the staff. I will never go to a Econolodge or Quality Inn again!!!

convenient location with value

Posted Feb 12, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: location, value, friendly staff.
Cons: could use some cleaning. Windows are filthy, difficult to see out of. breakfast items were stale, dry. TV guide was inaccurate.
great location with value for the money. Staff were friendly and competent.

Rip off dont stay here!!!!!!

I had to still wait, after already reserving room before check in, They swiped my card an extra time my money still pending two days after check out, poor customer service, things in room broken, no real security. Long check-in wait rather you pay before you come. Customer service says using hotel.com is not paying for room and they take payment again twice at check in.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. On behalf of the team we apologize for any confusion regarding the payment method. Hotels.com has 2 option, one where guest prepays to hotels.com or second when guest pays at the hotel. In both cases, you still have to provide your credit card for booking. if it is hotel pay reservation, the hotel swipes the card to collect the payment. Giving your credit card number for confirmation does not mean hotel has already charged the card, unless its a prepaid reservation, where hotels.com charges. We do apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused. Regards. Management.

We drove thru a lake effect storm, arrived very late. Our room was comfortable except the heating unit was pulled away from the wall letting cold air in - we had to adjust the heater controls all night to keep the room comfortable, made for a very short, not much sleep, night.

Convenient and clean hotel

Posted Jan 5, 2017 on Hotels
The staff was great (as was hotels.com) dealing with a booking problem. The room was large and spacious. It lacked outlets - only two by the desk and none next to the bed unless you moved the mattress to get behind the bed and removed one or both of the light plugs from the socket. There was also no light over the desk (and only one chair), so it is not entirely business friendly. But the room was clean and airy and the bed comfortable. The lobby area is very nice and pleasant and a good place to hang out or get work done. Wifi was excellent. Right off the highway, so easy access.
