"The host is great! The home is rustic and met our needs for a place to sleep, shower, and sit around in the evening. My opinion, it's perfect for 1-4 people. The ride up the mountain is definitely and interesting one. We had two Jeeps so we were fine but there are a couple areas that are not paved. I would rent this property again since the host was attentive and was easy to contact."

"It was a great place....if you had kids they would love it...us adults loved it too...the caboose we stayed in was just like a house inside...lots to see and do there..very clean inside and hosts would do anything for you to make sure your stay was enjoyable "

"The Buffalo Ranch is amazing! The owners were there the whole time working the Ranch! We stayed in the Caboose, it was beautiful! We will be coming back there every chance we get! "

"The bison herd nearby was wonderful to see! The cabin was cozy. The view was so nice and we enjoyed the swing on the porch. If you want great barbecue, we recommend Haywood Smokehouse, Waynesville. Their pulled pork quesadillas with peppers, onions and mushrooms were out of this world… delicious!!!"
