Great hotel, perfectly located across the road from the train station. Easy access to the shops and restaurants. Right in the city centre. The hotel itself is traditional and feels older. However, it is immaculate and clean. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't eat or drink in the hotel, but the bar looked cosy. I would stay here again. Felt very safe as a solo traveller.

"The property is interesting, old but in need of some tlc. The room was clean but let down by stained carpets. Bathroom was ok but the tile grout needed replacing. There was no restaurant facilities which let the overall stay down"
