Needs some adjustments

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Our room had torn curtains, bed frame was very squeaky and the lobby had a moldy/wet dog smell to it. The floor of the elevators seem to be over laid with some other flooring, so that when you went to step in you would TRIP on this RAISED floor. Various parts of the hotels floor would be uneven when you walked, whether there were dips or bubbles, we found ourselves being careful as we walked.

Quality doesn't match the price

Cons: Carpet
Good and responsive staff. They provide convenient drop-off and pick-up from the Metro. Pretty old, sticky floor carpet.

absolutely worst hotel

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: nothing
Cons: tear it down, and rebuild it
Location: bad location; I'd never go back there.
This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. It was extremely old, smelled bad, ,dirty, and so depressing. It seemed everything there was dated from the 1980s. Every minute I stayed there felt like an eternity. I had to save my sanity and leave after the second day. Even if they offered it to me for FREE, I would NEVER go back there again. This is one experience I will not easily forget.

Close to Fed ex field

Posted Sep 11, 2017
Requested connecting rooms and got them however connecting door was bolted shut. Toilet kept running unless I lifted back and jiggled flapper. Got a 7am wake up call that wasn't requested! Free breakfast was not so appetizing. Elevator doors on 8th floor looked like chocolate hand prints all over. I was told it was rust.

The hotel location was great for going to a football game. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel furnishings are a bit dated and run down. Also there is no mini fridge or microwave. I can't remember the last hotel I stayed in that didn't have a mini fridge.

Dear Guest, Our proximity to many local attractions is certainly what makes our hotel a popular choice and we are thrilled that our location was perfect for attending the game. As you have discovered, the Metro Points team has become quite well known for their gracious hospitality and while each room is not equipped with its own mini-fridge, we are always happy to supply one upon request for a small fee. There were so many things that you loved about your stay and we hope you will join us again in the weeks ahead, as we are certain that we can win your heart in full. Best Regards, Metro Points Hotel

Reasonably priced room

Posted Sep 10, 2017
The hotel room is nice and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is nothing special but it beats packaged danishes that you often get at hotels. It is also nice that they provide a free shuttle to the metro (which is only about a mile away but I wouldn't walk it at night). The one problem with this place is that the lobby smells like mildew or something and the elevator door on floor 6 looks like it has bloody handprints, though I assume that it is actually rust, it's still a bit off putting. Anyways, I had a nice stay but the lobby smell was a pretty awful first impression.

Nice location

Pros: The price for the rooms, cleanliness, nice staff and very good breakfast
Cons: Since I am a southern boy, how about including some hominy grits on the breakfast menu.
Location: Good shopping in the area
Very enjoyable. Had a great time with my family and friends.

Very nice for the money

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Pros: Location to interstate, Breakfast
Cons: Shuttle service more prompt
Location: A few fast food restaurants near, an IHOP right next door. Nothing real exciting but anything you need within 2 miles.
Located right off 495 is convient to getting around DC and Maryland. The provided shuttle to and from the Metro was a great idea, only problem we called for the shuttle then waited 45 mins. decided to just grab an UBER ,much more reliable. Breakfast was great.
