Renovated home in the heart of the city. Close to downtown, Colorado College, Memorial hospital, Olympic training center, and easy access to the highway. Come and relax in this light, open home with new kitchen, flooring, baths, bedrooms, paint and furniture. Decorated with a mix of old and new, it is a breath of fresh air when walking through the front door. Enjoy the beautiful commisioned stained glass masterpiece, by local artist Dana Keys, while you enjoy conversation and drinks in the open design living area. The light that shines in through the solarium changes the colors of the glass throughout the day. It is truly a work of art. Enjoy reading or playing games in the upstairs loft, go for a bike ride downtown for a local beer or cocktail (bike lane right in front of the house), relax after a day of hiking in the hot tub or disappear into your spacious bedroom to enjoy a little quiet after a long day. The house is equipped with 2 king beds, one queen and 1 single, two bathrooms, a laundry, a fully equipped kitchen, a solarium for getting a little vitamin D in the winter and a furnished front porch and a fire pit for enjoying the beautiful​ Colorado weather. Great Location!

We stayed at this property and loved all the different floors and spaces available, the check in and out process as a little behind as i would suggest to update it with more technology but other than that loved it!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS ADORBLE HOUSE

I just had the pleasure of being the first person to stay at Caren's latest masterpiece. This house is awesome! It is so close to downtown, Colorado College, the Olympic Training Center and Memorial Hospital. The central location and cute historic neighborhood are great. The house itself is unbelievable. Everything is brand new and decorated beyond belief. I love the mid century furnishing and vibe. The house felt cozy and it was stocked with every item we could have needed. The furniture, beds and linens were so comfortable and inviting. Everything felt so fresh and clean, it was hard for us to leave the house! Great view of Pikes Peak from the front deck and a sweet hot tub out back. We really felt like we were on a luxury vacation. My family cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you Caren for being the best hostess.

Fabulous home in great location

We loved our stay in Colorado Springs. The house itself was adorable, decorated nicely, plenty of towels, basics and very clean. Our only complaint was the initial day trying to access the property. After a long day of traveling with several adults, we had ordered groceries and were looking forward to getting in and getting unpacked. However, the door was locked! While the keypad worked with the code, the bottom lock was locked. There were no "extra keys" as the access listing had said. Caren took an hour and a half to get back to us about locating an extra key. We thought we had been shammed and even called VRBO to try to remediate the situation. After we were in, the stay was amazing but we were all quite frustrated on our first day.

Loved behind the yellow door!

We just enjoyed a week at this very welcoming home in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown COS. We loved the house! It checked all of the boxes- safe, clean, great location for area activities/dining and very comfortable. It is a charming neighborhood with very friendly neighbors out walking their dogs. Although we did not take advantage of the hot tub, we did enjoy the scenic morning walk down the street with a beautiful mountain view, we sat out on the front deck some evenings, we enjoyed morning coffee in the sun room and after horseback riding we were happy to have a washer/dryer. Before and during our stay Caren provided excellent and timely communications. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing place to stay in Colorado Springs

My family rented this property for our family vacation. This property has everything you need and more. Most importantly you cannot beat the location. We hiked, did horseback riding, zip-lining, went to a rodeo, did the Manitou Incline, shopping in Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, 7 Falls, and of course went up to Pikes Peak. Caren is an amazing host and was always available to answer our questions….100% recommend staying at her beautiful home.

Great location, accurate listing, beds were super comfortable, kitchen was nicely stocked with necessary utensils/plates/cups/etc. would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Host was super responsive, and checked in on us while we were there.

Perfect Getaway

We loved staying here! My family and I were out west for a big family wedding and decided to take a long weekend to recover, and we’re so glad we chose this house! It was in a charming neighborhood but close to all the things we wanted to do in Colorado Springs. The house itself had we needed and tons of personality. We especially loved the vinyl collection! All 7 of us were very comfortable. Thanks again!!

The cedar house is a great property!

We had a wonderful time, the hot tub was awesome, beds are comfy & the neighborhood was walkable. The views of pikes peak out the front windows were spectacular.

Comfortable and Convenient

We enjoyed our three-stay at Cedar house. Communication with the property owner was prompt, the home was very clean, and there were nice extra touches (shelves of books and games) that we appreciated. Also, the wifi is good! We had no problems with Zoom meetings for work. We were traveling with parents in their 80s and 90s to visit family in the area, and aside from one step between the ground floor master (king bed, big tv, step in shower - Yeah!) and kitchen/living area, which we knew about it from advance communication with the owner, it was easy for them to navigate and a comfortable home away from home. It's hard to find a VRBO with an accessible ground floor master bedroom, and this one worked well for us. The house is a 3-5 minute drive from the restaurants and businesses on Tehon, and about a 20 minute walk to a nice multi-use path that runs for miles along a river/creek. Great for morning sunrise walks with views of the mountains. Easy proximity to other Colorado Springs hiking sites, and super close to the Olympic and Paralympic museum. The neighborhood is quiet, and parking is easy for one or more cars.

Beautiful property!

Our stay was wonderful! The home is beautiful and the perfect size for our family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and the property was furnished with everything we needed. The community was nice and close to many sites and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Welcoming stay!

This was our first trip to Colorado Springs and it did not disappoint. Caren was a wonderful host. Anytime we had a question or needed help, she was on top of it. This house is so cute! We loved the bedrooms and appreciated the amenities. The robes were an excellent added surprise when we used the hot tub. The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt quite safe. We enjoyed having our coffee outside on the lovely chairs. It was near all of the sites (Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs) that we had planned to do. We were even able to walk downtown for breakfast. Thank you for providing us with an enjoyable experience.

Cute and Cozy!!

We loved this sweet updated house! More than enough room for my husband and 3 kids (Ages 26-11). Great location close to everything and quiet neighborhood. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because it was hot out, but I’m sure it’s nice too!
