Such a wonderful place to stay! The house was cozy yet had all the comforts of home. The property was nice with a grill, fire pit, porch swing, tire swing and a raised treehouse type structure for the kids. It was very relaxing to be right on the river. So thankful for this peaceful getaway!

Above & Beyond
I want to go back! The cabin was clean and perfect for an escape from home. If the photos haven't been updated yet, there is now a tire swing and a play fort in the yard which our kids loved (and we did too.) The internet service was surprisingly good if you need that. We happened to be at the cabin during the great ice storm of Feb. 2021. We ended up iced in and stayed an extra day. The host went above and beyond to help us stay comfortable and get us home safely. We watched the river completely ice over, then melt and flow downstream. It was beautiful! I can't wait to go back in warmer weather to enjoy all this home has to offer.

Great Place for R&R with a River View
The cabin was very clean and offered several activities. We built several fires in the fire pit outdoors. There was an opportunity to kayak, but it was too cold during our visit. It certainly looked appealing. There is a dock so we got to enjoy fishing. The wifi was strong, especially given the area is so remote. We enjoyed the restaurant Ole Red and the winery Old Silo nearby. We appreciate the owner sharing this property that offers great relaxation.

4/5 Good

Great place!
4-Star rating truly deserved. Cabin was as described, very cozy and amazing being so close to the Blue River. Had a fun time using the kayaks provided by day and the fire pit by night.
