It is located in the charming old town area of Kirkby Lonsdale, within easy walking of the river and the town's independent shops, pubs with local brews, and excellent restaurants. Farther afield, KL is an ideal spot from which to explore the Dales of Cumria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We would definitely visit The Old Weigh House again.”

“The property was very clean, warm and comfortable. The top bedroom, which was in the attic was well appointed but our group felt it might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I was able to contact the owners easily and they responded to my requests for extra crockery promptly. The property was in a quiet area but still very convenient for the train station and the city centre which was about a 10 minute walk away.
