The property was outstanding. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, property was immaculate. Parking was plentiful. But in the main building there was no AC and a tiny window to circulate air. That’s just a selfish opinion but that’s the only minimal complaint if you even want to call it a complaint. More like a spoiled American complaining about nothing. I’d DEFINITELY stay here again. Perfect midway point from Dublin to Galway. And if you decide to get a little lost in Roscommon, well worth the wandering.

Wonderful, wonderful hotel and a true life experience. Only negative was the "Dungeon" restaurant - rather faux in terms of trying to be something historical... Overall, we loved our stay!

Knock House hotel was perfect. Very easy and short walk to Knock shrine. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel kindly stored our luggages after check-out, allowing us to continue with our planned activities at Knock Shrine without any hassle. Breakfast buffet was delicious and there was a good spread of various dishes. Service staff were great. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was amazing too, had the best seafood chowder ever! Manager there spoke to us at dinner to welcome us. Wonderful hospitality. Booked a triple room which was big and spacious. The room was also peaceful and quiet, clean and comfortable particularly the beds. Had a nice, peaceful and restful sleep. Bathroom was also spacious and clean. Only stayed for a night but wished it was longer as it was such a wonderful and lovely stay. Had booked and stayed in about 10 hotels in a trip travelling around Europe and this was the best one. Highly recommended! Knock Shrine is a very peaceful and spiritually enriching place, a great place to pray, unwind, disconnect, and spend some time in reflection and contemplation. The bookshop has an extensive range of books which is impressive. Would love to visit again and stay longer, and would definitely stay at Knock House Hotel again.
