My family had a great time and we loved that how there were toys/supplies for everyone even the baby (aka, high chair/pack-n-play). The house did have an echo, but we started talking about finding time to come back again while there. "

We checked in later at night, and our tv wasn't getting a signal, someone came right over and fixed it for us. She was so kind and didn't seem to be bothered at all with how late it was. We would definitely stay here again. Only 12 miles from Murfreesboro which is where we were going. "

"Our stay was great! The cabin was very secluded and peaceful, but only minutes away from downtown Murfreesboro. It also had access (loose stone path) to a new deck and stairs that went down to the river. Note if it is slick, 4wd is necessary to drive down to the deck then back up to the cabin. The cabin was cozy and had most everything we needed to make basic meals. The best was the screened in porch that we used every morning to listen to birds, wildlife or have total silence without worrying about annoying bugs. "

Visitors might want to be prepared to do some meals at the cabin since there are not a lot of places to eat in the immediate area. The kitchen was well equipped except for linens. Overall, we loved our trip and already planning a return trip. "

"I would definitely stay here again! We booked this family trip to do the crater of diamonds park and it was less than a 10 min drive away. This property was clean and very well maintained. The owner was so nice and was easy to reach if we needed anything. Even before we arrived I messaged him with a few questions and he responded immediately. This was the perfect place for a family. They have a cute backyard area with a bbq and fire pit. They also provided lawn games and board games. Highly recommend staying at the Gemstone! "

"Booked this place on a whim. Was looking to break up our trip across a few days and stay somehwere along the way. I have a family of 6 and so this looked very desirable. We stayed in the barn. It was cozy and eclectic. Everyone slept very well and the kids very much enjoyed petting the goats and trying to entice the other animals to come closer. The family host was extremely friendly and attentive and the breakfast was to die for. The town of Washington is the old Confederate capitol of Arkansas after Little Rock was captured so there is a rich history there and is a state park. I would definitely go out of my way to stay here again. A real gem."

"Cabin is great. Very clean and cozy. About 10 mins outside of Murfreesboro. Close to restaurants, the crater, and other attractions. Note, there is only a small Dollar General in town. If you need serious groceries, stop at the Walmart in Arkadelphia or Nashville depending on how you are getting there. Additionally, this is probably one of the most generous hosts in terms of amenities like the small stuff and extras. The Little Missouri River is behind the cabin and is a nice place to dip the feet in. Also, friendly tip. Do the Crater of Diamonds first, then go up to the quartz mines. It makes the quartz mines even more amazing. Thank you to the host! We had a great stay. "

"We stayed for the 4th of July weekend. Very quiet town and loved the celebration the town had was really nice. Food in town was not so good but we managed. Cabin was beautiful and very peaceful. Small but that didn't even bother us. My 2 kids just loved it and kept saying they wish we lived in a cabin exactly like that. Hope to come back and stay here. "
