Slow response to checking in, towel replacements and check in. If you need a clean non-expensive alternative to most hotels near the Ark Encounter, this fits. Hotel is for a place to sleep, shower only. No restaurants right by the hotel. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Call Hotel a couple of hours before check in to receive a text message with door code and WiFi password. When I opened the room, it smelled like old fish. Property was a bit run down and worn, but for the price, I’d give it a C+. There was a strange woman wandering around the parking lot who appeared to be on drugs. The code sent to me wouldn’t open the door. Finally got the right code and got in. The room had not been touched. There were towels on the floor. There was trash in the room. The icing on the cake was there was blood on the sheets. When I called the motel they wanted me to go check another room to “see if it was cleaned”. He also told me it wasn’t his fault what people did in the room and was very rude. Didn’t even refund my money for the night. I wouldn’t stay here for a thousand dollars.
