Very adequate place, and I would stay again.

Third stay here. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Lobby and outside area are clean. Room is clean. Great location to Baylor!

The bones of this stay were just fine... comfortable bed, close to Baylor, and I really enjoyed that there was an actual kitchen and laundry in the unit. However, there were just a few things with the experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. Mainly, it felt like in staying here, we were submitting to having a dorm mother who was constantly watching us. The rules left on the sheet of paper in the living room did stipulate that they basically had cameras on the property (not inside the units) and listening devices within the units to make sure noise levels weren't getting out of control. I had friends picking me up a few times, and out of those combined pickup and drop-offs, the woman who looks after the place came out to interrogate my pickups twice. Then, there was the issue of the maintenance guy... twice in one morning, he tried to enter my unit without knocking or asking permission. I was sitting in the living room both times... I just kind of froze the first time, but when it happened again, I stuck my head out the door to ask what was going on. He said he was mistaken on which unit he was supposed to be going into, but given that it happened twice, it just kinda freaked me out. Lastly, I know we're in Waco, but it was frankly annoying walking in and having the 10 Commandments posted on the wall with a Bible right next to the door. It was just... a lot. Like staying with your overbearing aunt who wants to control everything. Not my idea of a great hotel stay.

hotel was unique and wanted the experience, greeting was nothing to write about, room was nice, tub was in center of room. No worries. the outside entertainment was heard from, guessing here, every shipping container room, unit late night. will I go back, probably not. definitely an experience. one and done.
