Quiet setting
Great property in a quiet rural setting. Listing included a hot tub, but was not there. Very clean and just a short drive to conveniences. Would highly recommend this property to others interested in this area.

Fanastic place to stay with family and pets
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage with our baby and 2 small dogs. It had everything we needed, including a big yard for the dogs to run around in. Tons of things to do nearby with the dogs, including the fantastic trails right next door in Seal Bay (including a beautiful walk to the ocean where we saw Seals and Bald Eagles everytime). There is also a dog friendly leash optional sand beach (Saratoga Beach) within a 20 min drive. Andrea is a fantastic host and we look forward to coming back!

This is the perfect location! It’s peaceful, quiet and clean with fast internet which allowed us to get some serious work done! The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive to any questions we had. The walking trails right out the front door are absolutely stunning as well. I would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful!!!
We were lucky to come across this great cottage in a lovely area of Vancouver Island. It is spacious and very well equipped; Parkside has everything you may need. And the location is very handy to Courtenay and Comox; a great area for exploring. We had Shaka, our ridgeback with us, and the fact that the cottage is right on the doorstep to one of the entrances of a large park (Seal Bay Nature Park) which has fabulous trails both on-leash and off-leash (except April through June) was such a bonus! It was lovely to meet Andrea, such a friendly host! We have no hesitation in recommending Parkside Cottage, just a lovely place to stay and we do hope to return!!

Perfect getaway
The whole experience was awesome. The cottage was well stocked, clean and ready for us when we arrived. I would without a doubt recommend this vacation spot to others. Enjoyed the trail next to the property, enjoyed meeting the owners, great folks. Will do this again in the future.

Peaceful indeed
The house was very well stocked and supplied. It had everything that we could possible need and want. A highlight of our stay was the easy access to the trail just steps away which our dog loved. During our stay, the temperatures were lower than they had been previously due to some rainy weather (around 23C) which we were thankful for as we found the cottage got very warm. The windows that had screens (not all were screened) we had opened fully. Even then, there was not great airflow and evenings were on the warmer side. I suspect that in warmer weather (anything above 25C), the cottage would be uncomfortable to stay in. I think air conditioning would have made the stay perfect. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay immensely.

There was absolutely nothing that we could fault with this delightful cottage. All communications were spot on and helpful. The cottage was kitted out with everything that was necessary and more. The beds were super comfy with premium linens and snuggly pillows. It was too quick a stay.....

Has everything you need!
Parkside Cottage is great and just as advertised. Great location steps from the trailhead. The best stocked place I’ve ever stayed. It has everything you need right down to bandaids, batteries, pens, even extra toothbrushes and toothpaste! If you’re a cook it has sharp knives and everything you need in the kitchen. The fenced yard is great for kids or pets to play. The patio with the fire table was lovely to relax. Host is readily available for any issues. Excellent value and we would stay again on our next trip to the Comox Valley.
