“I must have inadvertently booked a handicap room, there was no tub, but just a walk in shower, and that was okay, except the water from the shower made the entire floor of the bathroom slippery and wet. I informed the office that the toilet seat was very loose, he assured me he would have maintenance look into it. The shower had a large square shower head, so you had the rain shower effect. The only downside was, there were no businesses close by, so if I wanted to eat, I had to travel for food....

“Buen lugar para quedarse ”

“We booked a particular room and when we arrived they put us in a different room. I explained to the front desk clerk what room I booked and she said that that was not how the booking came across from Expedia and that we had to pay an additional$20 in cash to get the correct room after the clerk ran my card 3 times and told me I had to pay cash for the room because none of my cards would go through. She asked for my driver's license 3 times. Everything just seemed very strange”

“Beautiful view, cottage had everything and the kayaks were great. Sunset and a fire at the lake were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Great property, very clean and plenty of space for a family of 4.”

“The host is WONDERFUL and addresses issues EFFECTIVELY. Unfortunately there were a couple of issues (such as the gas & electric company coming early in the morning and saying they needed to shut gas/electric off or the Kuerig machine not working) that made the stay a little less relaxing. However, these issues were probably out of the control of the host and the host immediately dealt with these incidents and found resolutions. It was OUTSTANDING service!”

“There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean. The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside. My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to maneuver through the still water. Life jackets are conveniently kept in the brown box. There are...

“The place is just as listed and it was perfect for our stay.”

“The reviews for this place have to be fake. It's a dump. Wouldn't stay there. We immediately left and found another room. Beware. Bed bugs”

“Comfortable, clean, well equipped. Lots of snacks, coffee stuff centrally located.”

“Nice place, be aware that there are lots of steps.”

“Host was very good at communicating. Hot tub needed some attention, as at first there were no jets and by end of stay water was not warm. It was great being able to take my pup. She enjoyed the stay as well. There were a couple issues I messaged with the host about, but overall it was anlively place for rest, relaxation and getting away from it all.”

“Clean, spacious and we appreciated them allowing 2 dogs to join us. Great communication!”
