Loved this place Although the pool doesn’t look like the pictures it was of great release to our two children. Food and drinks all great. Nice classic business style rooms. Staff were excellent especially security who helped us park our van in the secure underground parking lot.

Property needs additional trolleys for luggage.

Villa Maia is in an amazing location, and was wonderful to stay at. The staff is incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful. The concierge is so knowledgeable and helpful. The staff bent over backwards to help us to have a great stay. Julian and Baptiste helped my daughter find an apartment to rent, while she is there for school. The whole staff is wonderful! I will stay there every time I’m in Lyon!

Lovely hotel, shower was amazing, location was perfect, unfortunately the Michelin star restaurant was closed for 2 weeks as it was holiday season so we couldn’t dine in the hotel, only criticism I have is that it would of been nice to use the sauna area but you couldn’t unless you booked a massage which I feel is disappointing if you are a guest at the hotel. All the staff were excellent but the English chap from Bedford 😊 was outstanding, he was so incredibly helpful and polite, he is definitely in the right job!
