La Petite Ferme - Cussy EN Morvan

Authentic traditional Morvandiau farmhouse from the 19th century (fully restored inside and having retained the charm of its original facade), located away and without nuisance on a small family farm (Charolais cattle breeding, some grazing in two steps for the happiness of the children). Peace and quiet in a peaceful rural hamlet nestled on the south-eastern hillside, on a bucolic plateau of meadows flanked by wooded hills, nestled at an altitude of 500m on the heights of the picturesque village of Cussy-en-Morvan, 8.5 km from the charming shopping town of Anost (many amenities, 12th century chapel & Romanesque church housing the famous Anost recumbent figures, 18th century masterpiece, residence of many artists). Magnificent natural & rural environment of gentle mountain, nestled in the hollow of a green valley of Haut Morvan, superb preserved setting alternating fields & meadows, vast state forests & small rivers full of fish. Totally relaxing setting. Spacious gîte with good comfort. Warm country character with contemporary accents (sublimated by the soothing pink color which enlivens the places as a "common thread"), married to the exotic atmosphere of an old country house steeped in history (conservation of many original elements : French beams & ceilings, fireplace mantel, doors, old oven with toaster…). Beautiful bright living room. Small gravel terrace overlooking a private courtyard, adjoining a mini henhouse & the owners' vegetable garden (the promise of possible eggs & fresh vegetables with their agreement). Pleasant view of the surrounding countryside. Composition: Terraced house. Wireless. Heating by wood stove. Raised ground floor (7 steps): kitchen, living room, 2 independent bedroom "spaces" separated by a communicating opening with curtain (double bed 140x190cm / 2 single beds 90x190cm), bathroom (shower / Wc) . Private terrace and courtyard. Shops & services 8 .5 km.
