"We really enjoyed how close this place was to the train station. There were also lits of restaraunts close by, very quiet. Breakfast was a nice little quaint setting, with great food. Thanks for having us"
"Rural setting. excellent accommodation Friendly owners arrived very late but key was sorted in key box loved the breakfast pancakes. didn’t realise there was a full blown hot tub next to bedroom would go again "
"Perfect for overnight stay in Bethune. Lovely room with excellent shower, secure parking on site and delicious and plentiful breakfast. All staff were attentive and helpful. Can’t ask for much more!"
"A choice has to be made between cleanliness/comfort and price for sure.
Of course the price is very low, so no disappointment, but an important effort may be done by the hotel. "

"We were a bit confused initially when we arrived in an out of town shopping zone. The hotel facilities were excellent but I felt that the staff were keen for us to finish our lovely meal. We had arrived in the restaurant at 20.30 and had been reassured that we were welcome. Maybe I've misread things but I did get a vibe that staff would prefer if we finished sooner rather than later."
"We were travelling from Switzerland to Calais and back to uk. Needed somewhere inbetween to rest. Had good reviews so booked this place and also had free parking.
The checkin is only open from 1600-2000.
We were running late and therefore had to contact reception. The lady who assisted us was wonderful and organised out of hours check in
The parking is on street parking and depends on availability of space and therefore free parking is not necessary available.
The room was not clean. It smelt foul. There was mould on the sponge on the sink.
One of the beds smelt like a drunk homeless man had slept on it. Had stains on the sheets. Could not sleep on that at all!
The other bed had small bits on it. We slept with our clothes and for the minimum necessary to recuperate and be on our way
The window opens directly onto the street where there is a bar and was noisy all night (it was a Friday night)
I am surprised that it has 9/10 rating! Would definitely not rate it at all "
"The picture on the hotel website shows the hotel with a sign which says “Hotel Restaurant Brasserie”. This, along with the “free, private parking”, made it appear the ideal location for my single night stay in Lens. When I got there, a Wednesday, the restaurant wasn’t open. I have subsequently looked at the FAQs which state “No, this hotel does not have an on-site restaurant.” There are a number of other restaurants in the street but all were closed that night and generally appear not to be open for evening service. The choice I was left with was either Domino’s Pizza or Friterie Momo. Fortunately, I picked the latter and had one of the best burger and chips I’ve had in years.
The hotel itself is functional although tired and need of a complete refresh. The room was comfortable although the bathroom left a lot to be desired. To get water from the shower you had to press in the heating control. Water then came out for no more than 20 seconds before you had to press it again. That would have been merely inconvenient it I hadn’t had to hold the shower head which would not attach to its hook. No shower gel was provided, luckily I had my own, just the smallest bar of soap I have ever seen. In fact calling it a bar is an exaggeration; sliver would be a more accurate description. Finally, the toilet was very close to a wall. In fact my knees were less than an inch from it. Anyone taller than six foot would have a problem.
The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of choice. The par"
"Convenient for a 1 night stop over. Only complaint was the hotel receptionist overnight tried to charge us for the room which we had already paid for via Expedia "
