Absolutely gorgeous property!
We stayed here during our wedding weekend! Our whole bridal party fit perfectly! We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding after party here. Some things we greatly enjoyed and appreciated - two fridges, three dishwashers, the hot tube, ice machine, having so many bathrooms, the long driveway for all our cars, the spacious decks, and the backyard view during morning sunrise! The weekend was so much fun! Looking forward to booking in the future with all of our family and friends!

Wonderful experience and terrific host! The house was perfect for our family. Our daughter got married at Monteluce and this house was so convenient. The house was perfect to host a small rehearsal dinner and a small post wedding gathering. Everyone who stayed and visited loved the house and it’s amenities. The house was clean and had everything you could ask for in a rental kitchen! Laura was terrific. We really appreciated how responsive she was and that she was willing to help us even during our stay if we needed anything that wasn’t already available in the house. We highly recommend as this house is perfect for a family “sleepover” or any special event!

House is beautiful and perfect for large groups who need a lot of private bedrooms and bathrooms. We found the house extremely well cared for and stocked. The main kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve stayed in. Laura was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome property for company retreat
We held a 5 day company retreat at the White Oaks Lodge and it was perfect. All 8 of us had our own bedroom and bath. The living room and porches were great for our discussions and business planning sessions. The kitchen was exceptionally well outfitted with well-organized and labeled drawers and cupboards. We enjoy cooking together as a group and this was a great space to do that in. Altogether a fantastic spot.

We were looking for a house that provided multiple king bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms for a casual company leadership retreat & this booking was perfect. The public areas of the house promoted interaction while the multiple bedrooms provided privacy. The house had everything we needed ... a well stocked kitchen, large dining table, comfortable open sitting area, outdoor sitting areas, etc. I recommend this property.

Second Stay, Delightful!
This is a perfect fit for our family and the second time renting this home. We booked 5 houses in the area for our reunion and this house allows us to come and go for meals, games and visiting. The upper and lower decks and the 2 living areas with full kitchens let us visit without feeling overcrowded. There were several issues because of recent storms and the landlord/owner was very attentive and made repairs with hardly an interruption to our stay. I really recommend this home for large groups. You will not be disappointed.

This property is perfect for a large family. The whole weekend was great. Excellent proximity to Montaluce Winery.The owner was quick to respond and was very accommodating with our requests. The only thing missing from this house was a pool.!

Absolutely amazing home!
This house was more than perfect for our bridal party. The property was clean, had plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was fully stocked, the owner was very quick to respond to any of our needs, and I would recommend for any large party. The amount of bathrooms in this house was a HUGE plus!

Perfect for our "family" vacation
Best place we have ever stayed. Kitchens (there are 2 full kitchens) were well equipped. Had 25+ family and friends for a holiday meal. Slept 17 very comfortably. We have already booked the house for another visit. Thank you. We had no interaction with the property manager. Never received check in information. I texted the phone number for info to enter but never received a reply. When we arrived the house was unlocked. Never had a reason to contact them again.

perfect location and size
This property was in the perfect location for our sons wedding at Montaluce. We were able to park all the cars needed and everyone was able to find a great place and relax. Only issue was the upstairs bedroom thermostat. We followed all directions but ever could get it to work.

A Celebration in the Mountains
We celebrated the 75th birthday of my spouse with family. Some of whom traveled from Michigan and Maryland to be at this special occasion. The home is so beautiful and spacious. No one felt cramped. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of everything you needed. All the plates, pans , washer dryer, linen etc. Just take your food and you're set. It was 15 of us and there was plenty of everything to accommodate my family. I can't say enough about the view (spectacular). We even got to experience a little snow flurries one of the days. I would like to also thank Laura for her kindness and quick responses to any questions that I had.

Weekend Getaway
We rented the cabin for a Women’s Retreat and had the best time! The cabin was very clean, had plenty of room for us during the day as well as at night, and was stocked with all that we needed to enjoy our stay. The cabin is conveniently located to Hiawassee as well as the surrounding areas of Lake Chatuge. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Accommodations
Our stay extended 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year 2021 holidays. We chose this location because on-line it looked the perfect place to accommodate our family’s needs. To our amazement, it surpassed what we expected to find. There were a total of 18 of our family able to join us spreading over the two weeks. Week 1 there were 13 of us and Week 2 there were 10. Their ages ranged from 6 months to 68. Everyone had their own space and the two common areas gave adequate separation for the different age groups. Superb set-up! For this time of year, there were more activities available than we could make decisions on what to do next! North, East, South or West no matter what direction you took, there was always something to do or sightsee! I can’t imagine what more to do during the spring and summer months. For the ones who wanted to stay behind, they could enjoy the magnificent views from the enclosed 4 seasons room or from downstairs terrace or lounge around the fire pit. For those who absolutely have to cook while on vacation, there was plenty of kitchen ware to suit your needs. Lots of amenities to get you off to a good start. Toilet paper, paper towels, plush bath towels, dishwasher detergent, hand soaps, etc were provided so you didn’t have to shop for these necessities initially. There was only one inconvenience we had to endure, but considering it was during the holiday season and difficult to acquire maintenance staff, the problem was not insurmountable and we just adapted. Definitely not a reason to forego giving this property a 5 star review! The property owner, Laura, was easy to work with and accessible when needed. We enjoyed the hard work that she had put into this newly renovated home and it certainly paid off! Kudos to a job well done! This property is definitely worth considering for your next family vacation! Cliff D.

What a gem! Great home for families and or couples! So much space and abundant peace and quiet.
We had a family wedding at the local winery. This lovely home has all one might need for a family reunion or special get together. All 9 bedrooms were immaculate, large, and private, with lovely bathrooms. With 19 individuals ranging from 3-73 years old at the house, there was plenty of space for group games and activities or private discussions or conversations. The 2 large kitchens were very well equipped and all living space was comfortable and more than adequate. The jacuzzi and outdoor area were an additional plus. The views from the rear porches were so amazing. Despite the large number of occupants, the rooms were very insulated and positioned such that noise was not an issue. Everyone raved about the weekend experience and this jewel of a home. I would definitely go back and I certainly recommend this delightful place.

The house was very comfortable for our large party. It was nice to have separate living areas so everyone had their space but could hang out together when they wanted to. We had our rehearsal dinner there, and the house had the perfect set up for that. It had everything we needed for our stay.

We had a fantastic stay! The layout of the house is extremely conducive for accommodating multiple families. We felt right at home and the owner was extremely communicative as well. Overall a 10/10. This property was very spacious everyone had their own space. Parking was excellent. The only thing was missing was either a pool table or ice hockey game for some entertainment to go along with the cards and board games. Other than that it was a great stay. We will return again.

Great house!!
I would recommend this house for any getaway! We had a large group and everyone felt so comfortable but still had plenty of individual space to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked – I’ve never been in a rental where I literally had everything I needed to make a couple big dinners as well as breakfast for a crowd each morning. All of the beds and linens provided were clean and fresh and we absolutely cannot wait to stay here again. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Best house EVER!
This was year 7 that a group of my family does a cousins retreat and this is the first time we did a back to back house. (2020 & 2021) We found this gorgeous house in 2020 during the pandemic and fell in love. This house with it’s 2 kitchen and very spacious layout was the way to go with a large group. The location, across the street from the winery was also a plus and a reasons we came back. (🍷😉) Laura your house is phenomenal and we know in the future that we will definitely come back to your house because my family has fallen in love with this beautiful home away from home.

Beautiful home, a little farther than downtown than we hoped
This home is large with great finishes. We stayed with a total of 3 families all with teens and tweens. The kids made the downstairs there area and had a ball. The kitchen is fully stocked. When we arrived we were a little disappointed by how far away we were from downtown Dahlonega. It was a 15-20 minute drive. We should have looked at locations closer. We did go to a Montaluce winery which is right across the street twice! The property is beautiful and the restaurants were good!

Perfect for large family gathering
We rented this property for a gathering of family from various cities across the country. It was perfect for our needs! We had plenty of kitchen space and plenty of sleeping space! The driveway was perfect for kids to play without having to worry about the road. Owners were very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly.

Fantastic House for Large Families
We booked this house to serve as our home-base for our daughter's wedding in Cleveland, GA. We are a family which ranges in age from 20-84. This house exceeded all of our expectations. Well-equipped kitchen, , great views from the upper deck, hot hot tub, plenty of room for everyone. Loved having the downstairs kitchen and living area so that the younger family members could have a space to hang out all to themselves. Hosts were great and were quick to answer all of our questions. A wonderful place to make great family memories!

This property was easy to find and in a nice location. The property has great curb appeal, plenty of space for parking and the view out back is stunning. The inside of the house is absolutely beautiful. Very well kept, top of the line new appliances, 2 kitchens, every room has its own bathroom - one room share. There were 14 of us and we had more than enough space. There is a lot of seating inside and outside. We did have an issue with the water - something with the well and we did not have running water the first night and next morning, but the owner was very concerned and tended to the matter. The owner also refunded us for the inconvenience. I will definitely use this property again.

We wanted a large house for family and friends to stay while in town for our son’s wedding at the vineyard. It was amazing and everyone loved it. We had the rehearsal dinner at the house with 30 people and caterers. Everyone raved about the house and set up was perfect. The owner, Laura, was very accommodating for us and easy to deal with. We rented this beautiful lodge for our out of town family to stay together for the wedding of our eldest granddaughter. Each couple or single had their own bedroom and bath while we shared the common spaces for lounging and meals including the very large porches, the jacuzzi and the fire pit. The accommodations are made for large groups so we hosted the rehearsal dinner with about 35 guests along with invitations to breakfast on the wedding day for the bridal party. We used the very well equipped kitchen upstairs and didn’t need the second kitchen or the second laundry room at all but we’re impressed with the thoughtfulness in the planning for this lodge. Every one of our guests were so taken with the layout, the comfortable rooms snd the relaxing atmosphere of this remarkable find. Lastly we were so happy with the woman who owns the lodge as she was so accommodating to our Covid cancellation last year and our new reservation for 2021 as well as our communications while planning this great trip. Rest assured you will not regret busing this remarkable property.
