"Extremely local chinese hotel. English speaking staff were far and few. Staff all hesitant and not confident to deal with foreigners so the communication was a struggle. But everyone was nice and polite. The common areas are not well maintained (i.e. lobby) so if you are looking for an upscale experience this is not your place. "What a cool property on Erhai Lake. I didn’t know what to expect and the hotel was a fantastic introduction to Dali. The food was plentiful and delicious, the staff was courteous and professional, and my room overlooking the lake was awesome. Moonlight, my direct contact, was very good in keeping up with me and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. "
