Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. All staff I came across were friendly, cheerful and polite. Low couch chairs in breakfast area need replacing due to worn out springs. Too low and no longer fit with eating at tables.

Phenomenal service. Exactly how a 5* hotel should be run. Everything was perfect.

We planned a trip for 5 of us. The hotel was in a very convenient location. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. The breakfast was included and was okay… The pool is rather small and crowded. The building is not sound proof at all. We continuously heard ambulances, loud music from the street and the room next to us. The fridge froze our beverages. And lastly, housekeepers came by our first morning and we didn’t need anything but fresh towels. It literally took me calling 3/4 times for them to bring us fresh towels. We didn’t get towels until 4pm. Oh and then the parking. They only have Valet parking out of the parking garage that they charge and additional $80 per night that was not disclosed at time of booking. And it’s not really valet… valet to me is they meet you at the front door, help load luggage and etc. that doesn’t occur. They bring your car in a close proximity to the elevator in the parking garage, and you do the rest. Overall, not terrible but not sure if I will be back.

Terrace 16 resto has the best view in Chicago outstanding service. Hotel is located right next to the river cruises. Walgreens is 3 minutes away by foot. Very safe neighborhood several excellent restaurants within 10 minutes on foot. Try Wildberry resta for breakfast excellent food. Sanda for Asian food and Grand Boucher French The pizza place next to hotel (bonjiourno) overrated and subpar

i’ve stayed here a few times and love it. it’s my go to, i highly recommend this place!
