House was not clean
Needs repairs and updates. The floors and the couch was dirty. Visible black mold in all of the vents. The rugs in both bathrooms were dirty and I was fearful if I washed them thy may fall apart. The cleaning fee is high to find the property this dirty.

Very nice.
It was very nice. Angles of pics made things look more spacious. But we had plenty of room. No issues that wasn't taken care of by a simple phone call. Would love to stay again!

Jacks Senior Trip
We had a great stay. We let our son choose our destination for his senior trip. House was perfect for the 6 of us with comfortable beds and two bathrooms. We loved the relax style of the island and beaches.

Nasty, roaches
Not at all as advertised. The view was minimal, roaches in the kitchen washroom area, the floor in the washroom area was disgusting, and the freight elevator was unusable which made no sense considering the stairs. The toilet in the main bedroom rocked like we were going to fall in the tub every time we sat down and house smelled musty and old. There was a place In the ceiling that was gross and looked leaky.

WE HAVE FROENDS THAT LIVE ON THE ISLAND AND HAVE A BIG BOAT - THEY INVITED US UP FOR A RED SNAPPER TRIP - WE LOCATED THIS HOUSE VIA VRBO - UPON ARRIVAL WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED - CLEAN YARD - VERY CLEAN HOUSE - BEDS WERE COMFY - THE ENTIRE HOUSE WAS EXTREMELY CLEAN AND RELAXING - YOU DEFINATELY FELT LIKE YOU WERE AT HOME INSTEAD OF STAYING AT JUST SOME OLE HOUSE - THANKS FOR EVERYTHING - P.S. THANKS TO WHO EVER LEFT THE COFFEE IN THE FREEZER - THAT WAS ONE THING I FORGOT TO BRING AND TRUST ME AFTER A 7 HOUR RIDE TO GET THERE I NEEDED A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE - I WILL FOR SURE BRAG ABOUT THIS PLACE

Very happy with our stay!
This was a great place for a get away! We spent 3 nights. Everything was as advertised. Very clean! Nicely equipped kitchen, laundry facilities. The island was a peaceful, quiet place to relax (except for one very loud thunderstorm). We would definitely love to go again.

Wonderful vacation
This property was perfect for our little family get-away! The house is in the perfect location, close to everything and the beach across the road is better than the public beaches. Mrs. Davis responded to messages quickly and was super kind and wonderful! I definitely recommend staying here. We cannot wait to come back.

This place was cute, clean, and within walking distance of the beach. The host graciously left brochures for things around the island. Word to the wise, for my coffee drinkers, bring your own. There is only one coffee shop, and it’s closed most of the week.

Short walk to the beach which is beautiful. The house does move a bit when other people are walking around. For most people it wouldn't be a problem, but if you're sensitive to motion, you just need to be aware of it.

We had a very nice stay at this house definitely less than 7 minutes to walk to beach, would definitely stay again. Owner was very easy to get ahold of if needed and was very polite. The stretch of beach that it is closest to is the best on dauphin island

We spent an awesome 5 days ina house that was perfect for our vacation. It was big enough for everyone to be comfortable and have their own space and close to the beach, which was what we wanted. There was plenty to do activity wise or just relax inside or outside.

Four old guys from High School getting together
House was awesome. We’re four old friends who got together to try to fish a couple of days. The wind made it impossible but that’s ok. Enjoyed hanging out in the area under the house. Cool lightning there and made some new memories. Perfect setting, thanks !

Great Home Away From Home
The house was perfect for our family of five to spend a relaxing week on Dauphin Island. The house was pretty and clean, and furnished with everything we needed. The outdoor lift was a tremendous help. We enjoyed the two swings and hammock under the porch. The outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. We enjoyed the deck which offered a view of the water. The location was ideal as we could walk to the beach, or take a very short drive to West Beach or Pelican Point. We were able to purchase fresh seafood at Skinners, and enjoyed dinner at Islanders, both only a short drive. Island Golf was also close by. All in all, we had a wonderful time and made many good memories here; we hope to return to this place again, and highly recommend this house.
