Very friendly staff but room was disappointing.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Room maintenance.
The hotel/restaurant staff were all very friendly and worked with us on a last minute room change. My husband and I really enjoyed the location of the Inn because we had many choices for dining within walking distance. Also, we prefer to be away from the busyness and traffic of Santa Cruz so the Inn was great for that. The down side of staying at the Inn was the condition of the room. The carpets had multiple stains (dirt?) on them, the ceiling fans didn't work, and there were other smaller items in disrepair such as the toilet paper holder was broken off of the wall. Overall, the room was clean though. The bed seemed clean, though we wondered why there was no top sheet, just a comforter (duvet) that we assume they washed every time between guests. A top sheet would have been nice for temperature comfort. The price was good but we probably won't stay there again if we can find a little better accommodations that are not too much higher in price. If you do not mind carpet stains and some other deferred maintenance, with it's positive aspects, the Inn may suit you just fine.

Overall are good, vista points are close to the hotel, food is good. but once called INN should be have breakfast right? no, you still need to pay for your breakfast $$ :)
