I also wanted to apologize for the smoking area. Due to all of our rooms being non-smoking we tried to put the smoking area in a place that was convenient for our guests but in an area that would not offend any guests that did not smoke.Thanks again,

So much better than the touristy area down by Daytona. Skip the crowds and beach with cars driving on it. This is like old Florida. Quieter, safe, family owned restaurants and the beach just steps from your room. Pool area is nice. We liked the ambience of the tiki torches around the property at night. I would definitely come stay again. My two children said this was a great vacation spot.

We had a great stay. It was clean, safe, on the beach, great pool area and everyone there was friendly and helpful. Only things that were an issue was spotty internet connection and very few channels on the tv.

We thought the room was nice and clean. Beds were a little hard but good size. The view from our room was great until neighboring room hung their beach towels all along the rail. I thought there was a designated smoking area but the other neighboring room, the guy was right outside his door smoking and at times it smelled like weed. Overall a good experience!

We don't permit smoking in any of our rooms or the property other than the one designated smoking area we have on the south side behind the vending area. Guest are made aware of this when they check in as it's printed on our welcome letter which we give to all guest upon arrival. I do apologize. Hope to see you again in the near future.

Outdated bathrooms with no drain stoppers. I was so scared I was going to stop something down the drain! Otherwise a little run down but overall I’d stay there again if in the area. Parking lot not well designed

Nice quiet area away from the downtown hustle. Convenient beach access & lots of outside seating to watch the sunrises! Laundry area located on property & parking was easy. Enjoyed staying in the cottage, which was a good size.....but the bathroom was SMALL. Will stay here again next time we are going to Daytona.

We will definitely return to Coral Sands. We love the nostalgic feel of the hotel. Very quaint. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was perfect. The staff was very nice. The pool had a perfect temperature. We had a nice view of the ocean. The beaches were clean. Love the free parking.

The hotel was old but neat and clean. Linens and towels fresh. Pool and pool area was great. Kathy who checked me in was very nice. My only “complaint” would be it was very noisy with workers drilling/banging and when I went to check out from 4th floor at 7am, elevator was stuck open on 4th floor. Used the stairs. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Coral Sands has an extensive waterfront, with areas on the hotel grounds to sit observing the shore. While the facility is quite old, the room was pleasant. and quite spacious. All rooms have water views.The facility needs a great deal of cleanup/cosmetic work, especially around the elevator area and in some sections of the private bathrooms. Coral Sands has a limited number of ADA rooms, so we weren't able to obtain one. My husband who uses a wheelchair was not able to take a shower.

Thank you for your input on the cosmetic work needed on the elevators and the bathrooms. I am so sorry that you did not get an ADA room while you were here. It looks like we did have some ADA cottages available and would have been more than happy to accommodate you with one of them during your stay. I'm sorry that we did not beat your expectations on this trip however we really appreciate your feedback so that we can improve for future stays.
