It was nice to be close to beach. That was the extent of the positive. The staff was awful, careless and unaccommodating. When asked about parking, the guy at front desk said I would need a room key to park in a gated area. I had the digital key with my phone app, but he said that wouldnt work for parking. Ok thats fine and I like gated parking. I called they night before and asked for late checkout, which i usually get because I am a diamond rewards member. They said i would have to pay for it because "housekeeping doesnt like it". What? Ok. I paid. Then they called the room 2 times very early after I specifically said the reason I wanted late checkout was to sleep late. When i didn't answer, they sent a really rude employee to my room and he just walked in and said "the front desk is looking for you" in a abrubt tone and then juat walked out befire i could ask any queations or even understand what was happening. When i went down stairs, he said it was because they dont have a payment card on file. Are you kidding? Wow. So i told him i didnt want the late checkout anymore as i already had my things in my car and was ready to leave at this point. He said ok, but i still owed for parking. They guy who gave me a room key fir parking the previous day didn't say anything at all about that. When I expressed my disappointment in all that had occured, the front desk guy all but laughed in my face(not figurative). Also, the shower was clogged. I had to stand in dirty water to shower

Cheer leaders up most of night. We had a diabetic and no refrigerator for insulin. I was greatly disappointed in this facility and their rooms. Also my husband passed and I could not use our rewards points. I’m hoping they will refund a portion of my expensive stay to make this right for a former loyal member.

Incredibly loud did not get even an hour of sleep. Every high school dance team from the Tristate area was at the hotel. Sounding like they were having a dance competition in the room above our heads the hotel did nothing to quiet them down. They were pounding until about 3 am. Our toilet was so dirty and the shower did not work.

Every employee I encountered during our 4 day stay was pleasant and accommodating. Always made time for my incessant prattle. Good directions and recommendations. Drinks were cold, ( except coffee), breakfast was hot, rooms were great. What more do you really need?

The hotel was fine overall; we felt a disconnect on this stay and the $20 per night parking fee for a privately owned (by the hotel) did not help.

Oh, an Expedia booking
I called the day before my reservation to see if I could get into my room a little early. I was told, oh, you have seen Expedia reservation, we clean those rooms last, call tomorrow. We stopped in a little early the next day and we're told the same thing at that no we couldn't get into the room before 3. In general we were just left feeling that we were imposing on the staff and manager at the time.

I really enjoyed my one night stay here. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good. It’s also located in awesome New Smyrna. It was cold, but a beautiful area. Also, there are wild chickens around. I walked out the front door and a chicken came over and sat on my foot!

The hotel is in agreat location, but is very basic. They do not provide filtered water for quests and had no vegetarian option for breakfast eggs. Breakfast was ok, but no healthy options.

Very well appointed, reasonably priced hotel in the sweet seaside town of New Smyrna Beach, a little gem of a place on the Florida coast not far of the interstate Highway I95. Very friendly & helpful staff too. Would definitely recommend.
