Electrical issues
Upon arrival we found no power in the master bath. After trying the breaker, which would not hold we contacted the owner. She put us in touch with the property maintenance/manager on site. We found out there was a water leak in the condo above this unit. Water was found in the GFI in the master bath. There was nothing the maintenance person could do. The maintenance person did all he could but it was obviously an electrician was needed to change out GFI receptacle, which was saturated in water. This could’ve easily been changed, but it wasn’t.The large bathroom in the master was one of the features that prompted us to book the unit. We did end up using the hall bath for our 6 day stay with a tub around which we are not accustomed to using . The bathroom was clean. However, the shower curtain liner did have a great deal of mold on the bottom. It should’ve been changed prior to our arrival. The owner did offer us an extra day for the inconvenience, but it was 3:30PM the day prior to our departure and was wasn’t possible.

Beautiful view and ROOMY!
The condo is BEAUTIFUL and right on the beach with the master, living room and dining area facing the beach! The sliding glass doors stretch from the living room to the master. It was awesome to open the sliding glass doors and hear the sound of the waves!!

Very nice property, enjoyed our stay. The condo was very spacious . Our only issue was we had 2 cars and couldn’t always get a parking place for secondary car in the outside lot and had to park across the street.

Beautiful & Comfortable Condo on Daytona Beach
We found this beautiful condo to be just as described ~ clean, large, comfortable and perfect for our family group. The owner is very nice and responded quickly to any questions we may have had. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, all with views of the ocean. We ate all of our meals out and didn't make use of the full kitchen. Having an assigned parking space and gate remote made coming and going easy with pretty much anything you needed close by. We appreciated the size of OPUS, with plenty of room on the pool deck and easy access to the beach. We would love to return to this VRBO property!

Everything was great...the tv set up is a little outdated and confusing and there wasn't dish soap provided which would have been nice to have already there but other then that it is a wonderful property. We hope to come back!

Wonderful getaway

Fantastic stay, 1 issue.
Condo was fully stocked, cleanliness, location was excellent. The only issue we had was 1 week prior to our arrival date, I received an email regarding the temperature in the room. The temperature on the unit in the room was to remain at 74 or higher. I didn’t contact the owner, but I felt like if the temp could have been dropped to 72 or 73 it would have been more of a comfortable stay.

This was a great room with wonderful view!! Beds were good, room was clean, bathrooms were nice but a little out of date. View was phenomenal. Only problems were lack of info about check-in until the last minute and door code ending day before departure.

Great location. Away from noise but close enough to enjoy Daytona Beach. Condo was very spacious and clean. I loved that beach accessory was made available so we could enjoy the beach more. Surprisingly pretty good
The stay was great. We were racing at Daytona Speedway for the week and it really was a quick trip back and forth. The condo is exactly what is in the pictures and explanations. The pool was a great bonus. The one thing I kinda didn’t like (it didn’t bother me too much), If it’s a weekend or the evening do not expect to get ahold of anyone quickly. I had an issue with my passcode for the building when I checked in and they don’t answer phone calls. Luckily a different guest gave me a passcode to use. Will stay here again for sure

We had a wonderful time, Ghana/owner of the property was great, we had a problem with the garbage disposal and she had it fixed within a few hours. Daytona Retirement Trip
We enjoyed our stay at this spacious condo. The beach was uncrowded. We had no trouble getting an elevator or parking. It is right across the street from a putt putt course and a Dollar General. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo gave us plenty of room. The furniture around the pool could use an update and a few umbrellas. The dryer did not work, and we had to drape the towels over chairs to air dry which made for scratchy, stiff towels. When I contacted the manager, I was told that she was awaiting the arrival of a new dryer. The storage area on the garage floor was handy.

I don't usually due reviews but we've stayed in a lot of VRBO homes this was the worst. Our bed had hair in it, the sheets felt like they were really old. The pots and pans were all stained and the non stick ones had the bottom coming off. The fake drawer in the kitchen was duct taped. The shower in the master bedroom hurt you couldn't adjust the water to make the pressure any less. The inside of the building smelled like smoke. They had nothing to wash dishes with no wash clothes, or sponges. Check in was easy the view was great but I think that's all I could say. The place is pretty run down.

Thanks for letting me know but I wish you had communicated your concerns once you checked in. I would’ve sent the cleaning company again to take care of any cleaning issue. We always stock up on towels and washcloths but some guests dispose of them or accidentally take along. I could ve fast shipped those items to your door.

We had a great time staying and would definitely stay here again. Only 2 issues we had were the balcony door does jot lock and the dryer doesn't dry very well at all. But those are just small things not that big of a deal. YOU CAN'T BEAT THESE VIEWS.....

This is the second year we have rented this unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit is beautiful and well-kept. We have traveled to this area for the last 40 years. Our only concern was the large number of vehicles and people gathered in the nearby Winn Dixie parking lot on Saturday night. They were noisy, drinking, squealing tires and revving engines as well as blocking parking spaces. We have never witnessed anything like that. Also, the use of scooters on the sidewalks and in the streets was a nuisance and a hazard as well as the speeding cars through the area. In all the years we have gone to Daytona Beach Shores, one thing we appreciate is the law enforcement's diligence in maintaining safe traffic flow. That did not appear to be happening last week. Otherwise, our stay at the Opus was great!!

Great condo with ocean view
This condo is even bigger than it looks! The owner was available when needed and very helpful! The beds are all super comfortable and the layout and room is amazing! Few things to note: there are no grills allowed at this property so plan your food accordingly, also the property manager is not the nicest person, and is very strict with the rules(this is no reflection of the owner), the cleaning staff could do a little better but nothing major(also not a reflection on the owner). The storage locker that other had mentioned was not lacking, I’m not sure why the reviews on this were negative!! The locker is very convenient and quite larger than expected. We didn’t have to load up all our beach items and take 7 stories up to our room- meaning easier set up and take down not to mention less sand taken into the room! Overall our experience was nothing short of amazing! We will stay here next year and all the years following!

Great property, open floor plan, better than the pictures!
Very easy process for rental, really clean place. Great view off the balcony and nice storage area in the covered garage parking. A few comments - the dryer didn’t dry too well, so may want to take a look at that, also make sure to bring your own trash bags. Great stay with spacious living area!

Nice condo/some observations
The condo has a lot of space and is very nicely decorated. We had 7 people in the condo (4 adults, 3 teenagers). Some observations for future visitors: * Entering the unit requires two hands because once the lock code is entered, there are two handles that must be pushed at once, and quickly before the code times out, to open the door. * Building personnel is not very helpful if there is an issue. Upon arrival at the condo, there was an issue getting the condo door to open (it seemed to stick) and building management was not able to help. * You need a key both to EXIT the pool area to go to the beach, as well as to enter. This is the first time a key has been required to leave the property we're staying on. Since only one key is available, there were many times where someone went up to the condo to use the restroom, get lunch, etc using the key, and anyone later had to walk around to the front of the building and enter through the lobby to get into the building/condo. * The storage "locker" is great to store beach items during your stay without having to bring them up to the condo. The listing mentions that chairs, umbrellas, etc are available; when I inquired how many I was told the owner had no idea - so we had to bring all of our own items anyway versus taking a chance someone would be without a chair. I understand the owner may not be on site often to keep track of inventory, but building mgmt could have helped answer that question with a photo. * We also asked about the height of entry into the parking garage to know whether or not to use our vehicle's rooftop carrier. Again, the owner had no idea. When we arrived it was very plainly and largely stated on the entrance to the garage that the available height is 7'-3". * There is no broom in the unit so we had to vacuum the kitchen floor when needed instead of sweeping it. * The master suite is HUGE/the two full-sized beds in the second bedroom were great for our three kids, but left little room for storage space (a small tv table with two drawers and a small nightstand, plus closet) and floor space/the hall bathroom is also huge (the vanity is larger than a typical double vanity size)/the bathroom in the third bedroom is tiny in comparison to the others. * Very few pots and pans are available in the unit. We had to boil pasta in a skillet because we needed to use the one pot to cook the sauce. * The view is perfect! * The location was wonderful * Owner responds quickly to emails - thanks!

Ocean front Condo
We had a great experience in this condo. It was reasonably priced and provided a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The furniture was a bit outdated and carpets could use a cleaning, but for the price we we're satisfied. The condo included beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys for use. The property owner was friendly and answered all questions via email, text, and phone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for our family which included my mother, our children, and our granddaughter. Four generations! We love the area and have stayed in that area for many years. The Opus is a great location. The unit was beautiful-the view was amazing! Everything was clean and orderly. We had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to have one more pool key. We had mostly adults in our group and everyone did not always keep the same schedule, so having the key accessible was a little tricky. Having access to the storage unit was very helpful. The owners were very attentive to all requests and questions we had and the rental process was smooth.

Amazing Condo!
Loved the fabulous views from the oceanfront balcony. Key less entry made it very convenient for all the guests in my party, and no keys to lose. Condo is spacious, clean, and we had everything we needed. Gated parking under the hotel was very convenient, secure, and just a few steps to the elevator. We had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend.

Oasis on the Beach
We had such an incredible stay in this condo! The views were INCREDIBLE and the location was fantastic. Having a Dollar General and a Wynn Dixie directly across the street was SO convenient. The condo was squeaky clean upon arrival and the place is HUGE! The carpet and dining chairs are in need of replacing, but it certainly didnt effect our stay overall. The most wonderful part about this condo was the owner (Ghada), who went out of her way to make sure that there was a high chair and a playpen for our daughter in the unit when we arrived. It saved us so much headache/planning and we were so grateful. We cannot wait to stay again!
