"Hans is a very nice host - he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He personally greeted us and introduced us to the neighborhood and to the house. The house is located in Haarlem, but it is easy to get to Amsterdam. There is a shopping mall nearby with 3 supermarkets and some big stores."

"Nice size although the layout could have been better. The kitchen was a bit crowded with three doors opening into it. We found the dish soap and towel finally on the table but would have been better placed by the sink. Parking was interesting as we did not know which spot was ours. The reception was very good and helpful. All in all a very nice place and perfect for what we needed."

"Der Gastgeber war vor der Anreise schon sehr kooperativ und während des Aufenthalts ebenfalls. Die Lage des kleinen aber feinen Haus ist optimal und der Strand ist innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Da es keinen Parkplatz vor dem Haus gab, haben wir im Parkhaus geparkt. Für eine Woche 35€ völlig akzeptabel und immer einen Parkplatz bekommen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und sehr stimmig eingerichtet."

"Pand ligt aan een hele drukke weg. Tot na 12 uur is de buurt heel rumoerig van auto, wandelend publiek, schreeuwende schoolkinderen en/of luidruchtige tieners. Er is geen vluchtroute. Bij een calamiteit zit je aks een rat in de val. Met kleine kinderen zeker geen aanrader omdat ze rondom het huis niet buiten kunnen. Badkamer stond naar rioolgas. Wrs defecte afvoer. Er stonden leuke geurstokhes maar die stonden al heel lang droog. Het geurtje in de spuitbuis was tht 02-2023 dus ook allang leeg....

"This is one of the most elegant, well-equipped properties we have ever stayed in. Everything from the superb bed linens and lovely hand soap, to the gourmet kitchen. The location near museums and parks, was wonderful. Communication, check in and out was handled well, and the extra bedding we requested was ready for us. "I stayed at this property for 3 days and enjoyed it and Amsterdam thoroughly. The host was very helpful and open. I had no issues with anything at the property. The area is very nice and quite at night. Only possible downside could be for people with mobility issues as the staircases are very narrow and steep. As long as you're aware of that, I recommend this place."

The room was nice but somethings were missing off the description initially like it being a shared co working space and the jacuzzi wasn’t clean enough to go in, but the fire pit was amazing and the patio. "The rental is attached to the main house and is truly wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of room for everyone. We came with 10 people and were comfortable. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for us and the bed was nice and hard(I don’t like a super soft bed). There were all kinds of seasonings and drinks in the fridge for the folks who like to cook. It’s close to the Zaanse Schans and very close to just about everything. We were all very pleased."

"Nice and quiet hotel. Room was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. We were able to check in early. The shower room was very open so it got all wet after one person took a shower. Also, hotel does not offer paper towel and paper tissues in the room. "
