A fine hotel with very attractive design/decor. Note that there's road/rail construction going on in front of it. Our main thought was that it was overpriced for what it offered ($1000 for 2 nights in a relatively small room with a king bed. Good coffee maker in the room though and nice touches like welcome chocolates, water.

The hotel itself has great staff and it’s very beautiful, breakfast is amazing. Unfortunately work is being done in the street and we had to go trough a lot of construction every day.

The Kimpton De Witt is about as centrally located as you’ll want to be. Some may even find the area a little too busy, but the proximity to transit, food, and shops is worth the hustle and bustle. The hotel itself is nicely maintained and has fairly large rooms, reasonable views, and incredible staff. The room service is quick and there are plenty of delicious options, especially for breakfast. Having a noon checkout is awesome, but be aware that your room may not be ready immediately at the 3:00 pm check in time. This isn’t much of an issue since you can leave your luggage safe and secure while you explore the area until your room is ready. Of course, you can also enjoy food and drinks within the hotel while you wait. Overall, this hotel is a great option during a stay in Amsterdam.
