Walls had patch spots not painted, bathroom was grungy, dusting needs done, could write your name.in the dust under the sink, pool area needs a face lift, elevator looks sketchy, front staff was not very pleasant at all. Beds were comfy! And the air freshener in the hallways smelled great! Needs a good spring clean and refresh around here!!

I didn't have hot water in my room. We got there late, and i didn't realize it until we were settled in. No hot water in the sink when i got ready for bed. No hot water for shower the next morning. We were in a hurry, and I'm a tough grandma, so i took a cold shower. It got fixed quickly, so that was good

the physical plant is in pretty poor shape. ceiling was broken and crumbling in our bathroom. many scrapes on walls in hallway and room that had been hastily painted and not repaired. staff had an attitude which usually means the management does as well. i would not recommend this hotel

I am the general manager, and that absolutely does not mean that I have an attitude as well. I would have really liked it if you would have stopped and talked to me about your concerns. I was available and willing to listen. I can't fix problems when guests aren't willing to make me aware of their concerns.

Second most expensive hotel we stayed at in our 3 week journey and second worst. Where to start! Our check in person was beyond annoyed that she had to work. Nothing friendly about her. Our room was dirty. Greasy handprints on the walls, garbage in corners, bathroom floor was a mess, bedsheets were dirty, there was something sticky on the office chair, furniture was broken, breakfast was gone by the time we got there at 8:00. Steps had dried mud on them. We rented a room for $50 and it was the best stay compared to this overpriced hotel.

The venue was nice and had a continental breakfast and pool but the place could use a little TLC and some repairs & a fresh coat of paint and the breakfast had minimal options but was reasonable.

The person who checked us in was not polite at all. She basically made us feel like we interrupted her television show (which I could hear in the background). She programmed our keys and just handed them to us. She didn't tell us where the elevator was (we found it around a corner), she didn't tell us anything about breakfast (if there was one and what time it was available). She just made us feel like we totally inconvenienced her. I don't think we will ever stay at a Country Inn and Suites again.

The property itself such as hallways, the elevator and the stairway was a bit ragged with a lot of chipped paint. My room was not cleaned good at all. There was urine on the toilet seat, hair around the bathroom sick faucet, in the bathtub the faucet were a rusted and seemed to be corroded. The vent in the bathroom above the shower was half way off, there was a large amount of crumbs on the floor and there was someone's socks that were left balled up beneath a table. I cleaned the room myself upon entering because I didn't have the time to bother with a complaint, as I was in town for a baby shower and I was already running behind. I probably would not stay at this property again. The staff was helpful and pleasant when checking in and out.

The location was good to get to different attractions in the Decatur area quickly. The room wasn't filthy but it was the cleanist either. The bed was too hard for my comfort.

The hotel was nice and clean and enjoyed the room with the jet tub .. only thing that was an inconvenience was the pool , way to many kids and way to loud we didn’t stay long .

Disgusting dont stay here
I had pipes banging all night anytime somone upstairs flushed their toilets. Sheets had stains, no mattress cover. I slept on top of the covers and used a blanket from my car. I would have left if it wasnt so late and negative 20 degrees outside. Reaked of marijuana all thru the halls.

I liked that it was a quiet hotel, clean, and the breakfast was pretty good! They also have a gym and pool which I didn't use but I saw them and they looked nice. Staff were nice as well.

The location is good. The hotel could be nice it’s just not being maintained and cleaned properly. The desk clerk smelled like he just smoked a blunt right before checking me in. The bathroom floor was not cleaned at all. No hot water the 2nd day said it was due to being almost full. They need to upgrade to tankless water heaters to avoid this in the future. The beds need updated they are not comfortable. Housekeeping needs to clean better and maintenace needs to fix water leaks in ceiling and do some painting. I wouldn’t stay again unless they take better care of this place.

Two star hotel trending to one star
This is a budget hotel that is starting to look a little rough around the edges. Room was comfortable enough, but needs some TLC. Tiles in bathroom are separating from subfloor, tv pixilated often, lots of wall damage in hallways. Breakfast is about average for a budget hotel.

This hotel is becoming very dated and unclean. There was a place in our room close to the garbage can that looked like someone had thrown up and the carpet was never cleaned. The doors were chipped and very dated. The price to stay there keeps going up, but the hotel is starting to look very shabby. I stay there at least once a year, but am considering looking somewhere else.

Theee was a substance that looked like vomit in front of the mini fridge across the floor-2 ft long, The air/heat mini split stopped working my swcong night there, quite evident that the refrigerator had not been defrosted for a very long time=a huge amt of ice surrounding the electrinics inside, long black hairs up and down the shower/bath walls....etc. I gave a good review upon arrival and then this all appeared. Give iit a 2 star/5.

I was in town for a best friend 60th birthday surprise party.. my room was clean, towel needed to be replaced spots on them...my mattress was lumpy and hard very uncomfortable . It was a little noisy, some group of girls were there for a competition.. The potatoes that were served for breakfast were burnt, and that taste overpowered everything about the potatoes, breakfast wasnt that good.. the stay was okay, but, to book again id questionable..

Thoroughly disappointed
Upon arrival, I was assigned to a room on the second floor. Regrettably, the hallway emitted an unpleasant odor reminiscent of stale beer, vomit, and marijuana, which unfortunately extended into the room I was given. In response to my concerns, the hotel staff relocated me to a room on the first floor, which had a more agreeable scent. Furthermore, they generously upgraded me to a whirlpool room, although I opted not to use it. Upon closer inspection of the bed, it became evident that it had been previously occupied. The sheets were crumpled and bore traces of crumbs. I promptly requested fresh bed linens, but it took nearly two hours for someone to respond, only after I insisted. To my dismay, the housekeeping staff displayed rudeness and irritation upon arriving to change the bedding. They even denied the presence of crumbs, claiming that the bed had been made earlier in the day. However, when they removed the comforter, it was apparent that the sheet had not been properly tucked in, contradicting their statement. I inquired about the frequency of comforter cleaning, to which I was informed that it occurred approximately every three days. This experience left me thoroughly disappointed.

Nice stop
Was there for a one night stay. Hotel was comfortable, clean and felt safe. Check in was friendly. Pool was on the shallow and smaller size (3’8” deep everywhere) but it did the job for my two boys that wanted to swim. Many restaurants nearby. Decent hot breakfast in the morning.
