“Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step...

“The host was really responsive, friendly and made sure our entire stay went smoothly. The location was close enough but off the road enough we felt secluded and were able to enjoy our time in nature. Cabin was uniquely designed and provided ample space for our group for the long weekend. Would stay again.”

“This is such a wonderful place. Very beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the large covered porch and looking over city and French Broad River. The room was marvelous and shower was wonderful. “This is just the coolest property!!! The location was absolutely stunning, with the expansive front porch overlooking Marshall & the French Broad River. Perfect for families or a group of friends that want individual bedrooms AND communal, shared spaces. It was pristine in terms of cleanliness & stocked with all the kitchen items you can wish for.
