"This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I to enjoy our spring break! The communication with hosts was so clear and easy. We were a little confused when we walked into the main level because it wasn't what was pictured in the listing, but then we went to the upstairs (gorgeous!) The view over the lake and surrounding trees was beautiful and the space itself was pretty clean. The window across from the bed faces the east so there are unobstructed sunrise views every morning over the water....

"The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for everyone. The pool table was a huge hit, played lots of games. We came for the truck meet in Maggie Valley, the house was only 20 minutes away, and that is only because we had to go down the mountain to get downtown, but it was worth it for the incredible views. Had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone."

"Have stayed at multiple rentals like this in the area and while it was basically the same as the other small homes in the middle of no where out there it was a little more run down as the pictures don’t show the scared walls, cracked counter(though fixed), and general age of the home. It’s just a little old and damp smelling. But by far the biggest problem is the water. It smells absolutely awful. To the point that only two showers were taken between the four of us on a two night stay. I could...

"We enjoyed listening to the wildlife every morning. Coffee with sweetener and creamer was provided! That was huge for me! The bed was so comfortable we slept in every single day. Of course hit the hot tub morning and evening. Home was clean and cozy. Surveillanced neighborhood. Quiet neighbors. All around wonderful stay and we will be visiting again."

They even kept the hot tub on and running so that we could relax immediately after checking in. Kitchen has all the appliances and pots and pans to enjoy home cooked meals! "This is a wonderful choice. Close enough to I 40 but secluded. Even though we arrived late due to work, Denise came out to say hello and give us a quick tour. It was just cool enough that after a quick hot tub soak, we used the wood stove to get cozy. We would go again and it was perfect for the 1 night reprieve that we planned."

"The cabin was cute but the hot tub was a cold tub. Emailed the owner and didnt receive a timely response (1.5 days later and we stayed 3 night). I ended up spending some time to get it going, but unfortunate. We did have some encounters with rodents but its a cabin in the woods. Beautiful views and was cozy otherwise."
