The property - pool, walkways, dining area - were all very well maintained. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All the activities were very well-executed and planned. Drivers/guides/trackers were wonderful (knowledgeable, friendly, professional, etc.). Highly recommended. "

The triple room is like an old granny house, the linen not even the right sizes for the beds, towels not that clean, no bathfoams etc sachet, wardrobe has only 4 hangers, no drinking water supplied, no glasses. "The only reason I'm giving this place 4\* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "

"House keeping was awful. Accommodation was dirty, smelly and not aired. Fire left dirty from previous guests. Washing up sponge was soooo old it was discussing and unbelievable. Breakfast food was very poor, cheap unhealthy food. Dinner option was a choice of 2 meals. No wine list, just one red wine offered. Staff were friendly, but not trained. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Setting is good. "

"We unfortunately stayed for just one night on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on our way back to Joburg, but it was a truly perfect experience, just as we had hoped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful, safe, and enveloped by a lovely forest. We were overjoyed to receive an upgraded room for our special occasion, celebrating my partner’s 64th birthday, which made our stay even more memorable. A heartfelt thanks to Christina and Caroline at the Front Desk, their kindness and warm welcome genuinely elevated our experience. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed to making our stay so special and unforgettable!"

"The only reason I'm giving this place 4\* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "
