“Amazing stay at Anantara in Tangalle. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Especially Piyal our butler who made every effort to make our stay and unforgettable one. Rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom with a nice rain shower. The bed is really comfortable. Restaurants at the resort are good, we really enjoyed the Italian restaurant Il Mare (Risottos are delicious)”

“Amazing experience. The lodges were very comfortable, Wifi was great, aircon was strong, and the outdoor shower was very refreshing. The service was great, and everyone was extremely helpful. Meals are delivered to the table to allow you to sit in silence and solitude. I also booked a safari through the lodge, which was great as well!”

“I hate to give bad reviews, especially because the service was lovely and the property was great. But the room was dirty, with rat droppings on the beds. We were the only people staying at the hotel. I’m sure they cleaned the room when the last person checked out, but that seemed like months ago with the amount of dust and dead bugs in the room. Also, no WiFi in the room!”

“Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place.
