"My goodness, the Shangri-La Hohhot absolutely blew our socks off! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we felt wrapped in quiet elegance and first-class hospitality. The room was pure perfection;a blissfully comfortable bed, spotless shower, thoughtful layout, and a view that makes you stop and just breathe it all in. The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help without ever being intrusive. Every interaction felt effortless and welcoming. And then there’s the breakfast buffet…oh wow!!! Spectacular doesn’t even begin to cover it. The variety, the freshness, the flavors,it’s the kind of spread that makes you wish morning would last all day. (“I’ll have what I’m having!” If you know, you know!) China is breathtaking on its own, but stays like this elevate the journey into something unforgettable. Shangri-La Hohhot isn’t just a hotel...it’s a memory-maker, and we can’t recommend it highly enough."

"Our stay at the Sheraton was excellent! The room surpassed our expectations, and the shower is absolutely incredible! My goodness, you felt refreshed and revived, ready to take on the day's adventures or to wind down at night. I have zero complaints! And yes, you do get the stuffed camel souvenir. Definitely worth the visit! "

"Swimming pool was closed (not informed beforehand). Half the equipment in the gym did not work (3 treadmills all out of order). The Chinese restaurant on site was closed every day during our stay (Thurs-Sat). The all-day coffee shop was barely staffed. The bar was never open. The air conditioning did not work. This hotel promises a lot but delivered a very poor experience. "

"During my recent stay at Wanda Vista Hohhot, I was disappointed by several aspects of the experience. The staff was notably unfriendly and appeared either unable or unwilling to communicate in English, which made resolving issues difficult. Although I was assigned to a non-smoking floor, some guests were smoking in their rooms. Shockingly, despite this being against hotel policy, the staff did not address the issue for an entire week. It was only after escalating the matter through Hotels.com that any action was taken. This lack of responsiveness and enforcement of rules significantly impacted my comfort during the stay. I would not recommend this hotel to others seeking a stress-free and accommodating experience. It falls far below the expectations of quality and service that travelers deserve."
