"It was a valuable experience to spend time in an old Japanese house. The flat bus is recommended for the way from the station. But I knew it when I checked out. I thought the hotel should inform the guests."

"We spent 4 nights in Kotto TABI-NE apartment. The apartment is in two floors with kitchenette and a bathroom on the ground floor and sleeping room and another toilet on the second. Unfortunately it was not made clear in the reservation page that extra futon will be charged if used as we reserved the apartment for two adults and a child. Since the futon cost is high we chose to share two futons for the three of us. The apartment is clean and in good shape. We also ended up using the washing...

"Loved the more Japanese-style in the hotel and room. Walking around barefoot and in the jinbei was a lovely experience in itself. The room was sufficient and clean and came with helpful baskets to bring your towels to the onsen. It also had a hair dryer which is not mentioned on the room amenities on here. The onsen was fantastic with the three pools and sauna. It was a very relaxing time and I appreciated the late-night hours."
