“The rooms were very well cleaned and so was the hotel. The waterpark was awesome and was very nice for my two small children. The only problem during my stay was check-in . When we arrived at 4pm for check in we were told our room was not ready yet and that we would receive a text when it was. They allowed us still to go into the waterpark just a little inconvenient after you pay all that money to stay. 2 hours later by 6pm we still didn't receive a text so I went to the front where they told me……

“Beds were not good our doot to our room u had to use your shoulder and hit it to open it.. seems kinda outdated really bsthrooms were very small and you PAY alot for what you get water park was fun but they close it down at 8pm the outside pool is very small you just expect was more for your money on 2 less busier days of the week i would of been very upset if i did a friday night saturday night and got that still very dissapointed with out stay”

“The pool area was terrific the only problem is that once 9:00 came they shut off all the lights around the pool and walkways. Then they put on these terrible red lights you couldn't see where you were walking to save your life. A couple times the security guards was walking around helping people with a flashlight so they can see where they were walking. I know they blamed it on the mayflies but they were gone I didn't see one when I was there last week”

“We stayed for two nights from September 23 to September 25. It was raining and very cold during those days. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no hot water in the bathroom. We reported the issue on the first day, but no one responded, so we had to take cold showers. As a result, both of us caught a bad cold and completely lost our voices. On the second day, we tried turning the water to the hottest setting and letting it run for 10 minutes, but only got some lukewarm water. In……

“The property was clean overall and the staff were nice. The wi-fi didn't not seem to work and would prefer a little more variety for breakfast.”

“Overall the trip was fun but room was gross. Blankets were extremely old and smelly. Shower curtain needed to be changed. There was a bad storm before we came which resulted in dead birds scattered In front of our room. They were there for the entirety of our stay. One was still alive we took care of it. Front desk was aware.”

“Our room had mold. The elevator was out of order, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. No help from management. Breakfast had no hot food only muffins and donuts and cereal. No parking at all. Even for our golf cart.”

“This hotel needs to be updated. Location is great. I would not stay at this specific location again. The location in Detroit MI is beautiful, this being the reason I chose the Westin.”

“This hotel has lots of character. They did an excellent job renovating the 1930 building. Location was excellent. The room was very clean. The dinner and breakfast provided were really good. I’d stay here again and again.”
