“The resort itself is very nice, but the water villa section is in a worse area where the watter is very muddy and rocky (some very big and sharp). Better not go in the water for a swim at low tide since you can't even have a one foot visibility. Suggest taking the beach villa instead. At least you can go to swim from your villa. The lagoon villa on the sand bank is way too expensive, 2-3 times higher which is unreasonably high in considering that sand bank isn't too awesome, though the water……

“The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Ungoofaaru is a very hosting place, where you have a chance to be a part of the Maldivian community. The citizens are open-hearted and friendly. The options of facultative activities are limited only by your imagination (and your wallet). The prices are much lower then in resorts and the restaurants serve the local food in local prices.
