"Es ist eine einzigartige Unterkunft mit herrlich nostalgischem Flair. Dazu kommt noch die Ruhe in der ländlichen Umgebung und dem wunderschönen Garten. Die Gastgeber waren so herzlich und aufmerksam. Es wurde immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Außerdem muss das hervorragende Abendessen genannt werden! Es war alles vom Feinsten. "The house is beautiful, set in large gardens which were fun for my family to explore and play in. It felt like a home from home, comfy beds and a well equipped house, allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday. Alain was so helpful and accommodating. The nearby towns of Rochefort and La Gacilly are lovely to explore and there are plenty of good beaches only 30-40 minutes away."

They met us on arrival and Danielle had gone to the trouble of creating a local attractions list and map, which was really helpful as we hadn’t visited the area before. We were invited around for drinks on the terrace once we had settled in. Mike brews his own beer. This warm welcome was extended to other evenings if we desired. "We stayed in this house for a week, last December. We had a wonderful week, the house was extremely comfortable and well equipped. We rented a car and took several day trips. The weather that time of year was quite cold, but the house is very warm and dry with a nice big kitchen and 2 fire places with plenty of wood. We'd highly recommend it."
