"This is such a quiet, peaceful location!What we loved about the house:- well appointed with very comfortable beds - access to the pool next door (although the pool water was a bit chilly for me- my kids didn't seem to mind!) - very clean, modern decor, low clutter- lots of extras (kids games, books, cooking supplies, spices, ice cube trays, extra drinking water, beach towels)- Property Manager support: Bruno was very helpful in getting us checked in, assisting with grocery shopping (I HIGHLY recommend this add on service) and ensuring our rental vehicle and transport were set up (also recommend using Bruno for car rental coordination) . We only ran into 1 hiccup on arrival when the electricity was out, but it was short lived & was up within a couple of hours and Bruno checked in & ensured we had what we needed during this brief disruption.What we loved about the location of house:- proximity to Moonshine Beach Bar, Erna's Nature pool & Stella Maris resort- Beaches nearby: Love beach, Cape Santa Maria, Dealts beach.We would not hesitate to stay here again, thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Baywatch cottage is absolutely perfect. Silent except for the lapping waves. The bed is very comfortable and all of the amenities were spot on. There is a very good grocery store and liquor store within walking distance. The area beaches were stunning and basically private. Debbie and Philip met us at the airport and escorted us to the cottage. They couldn’t have been more helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet, laid back vacation, this is it. You do need a rental car. "

"Perfectly peaceful oceanfront escape! We had an incredible stay at this oceanfront home on Cat Island. It was wonderfully remote, but the home had everything we needed included great internet. The private, gated pool was a huge plus that made us feel like we had our private paradise. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking so easy. We highly recommend ordering dinner from the care-taker for the first night. It was delicious and a warm welcome our first night there. We lived exploring the island's local charming restaurants and one of our favorites was just a 5 minute walk away. Fresh seafood was plentiful and snorkeling was right on front of the house. The crystal clear water was unforgettable. It was an unforgettable trip and we will definitely be back. This house is perfect for anyone looking for a well-appointed house and a quiet peaceful get away. "

"We had a great stay! Nancy was easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. Nikki was great with on island support. The house was as advertised, comfortable, clean and all we could ever ask for! The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked our own meals almost exclusively. There were beach chairs, umbrellas and kayaks. Now for a quick island reality check. Cat island is not Nassau, Cancun or Miami. We have been there 4 times now. If you are looking for glitz, glam or fancy meals or even things like smooth roads and electricity that is for sure 24/7 then you may want to go someplace else. If you want land crab and hermit crab adventures, fishing, history, sunrises and sunsets and endless beaches to explore then jump in and go ASAP! "

"The perfect vacation home depends on what your perfect vacation is. This was MY perfect vacation home. We wanted comfort, and seclusion and we got it! We stayed early November of 2025 and never saw more than two people out walking the beach. There are a couple other homes within view but they were empty. The deck looking out over the ocean was definitely a highlight but the inside was very nice also. The upstairs and downstairs can be rented separately but we rented both just to make sure we were alone. Also there is some snorkeling stuff in the garage (accessed from the upstairs unit and more in a closet in the downstairs unit. A couple things to be aware of. You have to buy drinking water and ice for drinks since the house water is only for bathing. Also the house is quite a drive from almost all stores and restaurants so buy plenty of supplies before going there. Spend time on google earth getting familiar with the island and where some of the stores and food places are. There are two main grocery stores and both are ok but we liked Gilberts better. And while we didnt explore lots of places to eat we loved Hidden Treasures with chef Trevor. It takes quite a while to get your food so i recommend calling your order in an hour early or take your swimsuits and swim in the calm crystal clear water right outside his backdoor while you wait. The property manager lana was great and very responsive to amy questions we had. "

"We had an amazing time here and would definitely go back. We weren't sure how it would be to be on solar power, but we always had enough to charge our phones and for lights, cooking, and fans. We loved having our own trail down to the beach. We didn't see anyone else on this beach the whole time. We loved being able to hear the ocean at night while sleeping and the stars at night were mazing. No light pollution. This was the perfect spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We will definitely go back."

"The property is on one of the nicest beaches anywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cottages are right on the beach. The cottages are well thought out for a family of 4 with 2 double beds and 2 singles. "
