"Second time there in the same year tells you all you need to know. This time went with friends and had the best time. The Verandah is the absolute ideal resort in the sun. The staff, food and facilities were exceptional. Planning for next year already."

"This was a great find! The resort is a little dated, but the amenities are fantastic. The main pool is large, food is solidly good with plenty of options and changes daily, staff is friendly, grounds are well-maintained, and bar tenders will generously make any desired drink variation. And the beach is STUNNING: no waves, white sand with no rocks or seaweed, plenty of umbrellas and chairs, and picture-perfect water. The room was small and basic, but had a large balcony. Even though most of the clientele were package vacationers from the UK, the Palms restaurant delighted me by having multiple Thanksgiving options on the dinner buffet on the holiday. It's not a luxury resort, but it is a fantastic value and I highly recommend it."
