“Beautiful Lake view out of a sliding glass door onto a private patio. The coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator/freezer were a bonus. We were centrally located and made it every spot within minutes. Host was very nice.”

“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“After I ordered 2 rooms the owner asked me to call. He wanted to make sure how many rooms I ordered, and how many guests are comnig I told him we're a party of 5 and we need these 2 rooms (each room should sleep up to 4, no breakfast). When I arrived he told me (for the 1st time) that because we're 5, we have to add 15$, due to the 3rd guest in on E of the rooms. That's a surprise that shouldn't be discussed for the 1st time at checkin! The owner didn't talk sense into that dispute. I ended up……

The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception……

“Lovely B & B in a central location to explore the Finger Lakes region. Wonderful breakfast served each morning made with local ingredients along with lively conversaion with other guests. Definitely recommend Gothic Eves for a relaxing get away.”
