As soon as you enter the charming flat, you'll enter the newly renovated kitchen. The Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to cook your favorite meals at home. It is designed and furnished with numerous modern and comfortable amenities, while maintaining the original charm of the 1920s built home, that complement the fantastic Royal Oak location.
The inviting dining area opens onto the relaxing living room, setting the stage for many comfortable evenings. Stretch out & relax on the comfortable couch, turn on the TV and enjoy all your favorite shows.
Once you are ready to rest and relax, retreat to two lovely bedrooms, where you can recharge after an exciting day of adventuring throughout Royal Oak.

You'll have access to the basement, where you'll find your private washer/dryer. While this space is shared with the upstairs flat, the laundry facilities are not.

The entire upper flat is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The only part of the duplex that you’ll be sharing is the laundry room & backyard, but it comes with private laundry appliances and private outdoor balcony.

The house is on a quiet and friendly street, providing a perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of the big city crowds while being just a short, 10-minute walk to Main Street in Downtown Royal Oak, where you‘ll find many bars, restaurants, boutique shops and much more.
Its prime and well-connected location also offer quick access to the local farmers' markets, locally-owned grocery store, and four newly built parks, ideal for outdoor activities.
This location is right off Woodward, famously recognized for being the first paved road in America in 1909, and home of the Woodward Dream Cruise, an annual event which sees over 40,000 classic cars.
If you want to explore the county and the region, hop on the nearby 696, 96, and 75 freeways, and you’ll be in Downtown Detroit in just 15 minutes.

Our home is located right off Woodwards Ave, just north of the 696 expressway, near downtown Royal Oak.
Other Things to Note:
★ 1920's Home ★
Even though the space is renovated, much of the original character of the home has not been altered. The hardwood floors creak & squeak in some areas, the glass door knobs may get stuck occasionally, and the baseboard heat registers may make occasional pinging noise.
★ Upper Flat ★
This flat is located on the 2nd floor. You will be required to climb ~18 stairs to enter the home. Please message your host for alternative accommodations if this flat isn't a good fit for you.
★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★
Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a $1000 fee for Oder removal, Duct Cleaning, and furniture cleaning.
★SECURITY CAMERAS AND RECORDING DEVICES ★
A Ring doorbell with a camera is installed at the front door for safety. It only monitors the exterior entryway and is active 24/7. There are no cameras inside the property, ensuring your privacy throughout your stay.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
★ Duplex Style Home ★
While this is a private apartment, there are 2 separate flats under this roof. You may occasionally hear noise from the guests staying in the lower flat.
If you are easily bothered by noise, this home may not be best suited for you.
★ NON PET FRIENDLY HOME ★
This unit is located on the 2nd floor and is considered not pet friendly. Please let your host know if you are traveling with pets & we'll recommend pet friendly units we have available. Non approved pets will be subject to a $1000 fine.
