"We stayed 3 nights at the premium garden suite. Our stay was very enjoyable, beach area was great for swimming and relaxation. Also, dinner buffet was plain, no coffee tea service even for fee, no water, you could not bring your water bottle either. Other than that, we had a great time. We rented a car and enjoyed dining at seaside villages nearby. "

"This is a new hotel, at a windy, but very nice location with clean but cold and very salty sea water. Unfortunately, the beach is very close to the noisy main road and there are no sound barriers at the road. Many important small things are missing: The toilets and dressing rooms are nice but at only one place on the beach. The showers only on 2 spots and already in bad shape. The tap water is very salty. The main restorant is overcrowded, only two coffee mashines, out of which one was not operational for 5/10 days of our stay. The coffee from the machines was salty all the time. Frequent lack of dishes for soup and icecream, no small spoons, very small glasses for water. Soups are always cold. The service in the restaurant is poor. Nice gym, but almost no other entertainment program. Very limited availability of TV channels. No wifi internet and TV for 4/10 days Only one computer in the business center with no licence for MS Office or alternatives. Terrible smell in the area dedicated for sports. "

"Food - excellent. Staff - amazing, went out of way to be as helpful as possible Location - superb views, even if a bit tucked away. Room - a bit basic and need a bit of investment. With a baby it's not great to not have a bath and the bathroom very small. "

"The hotel itself is very nice and cozy. Beautifully maintained garden with loads of flowers, pine trees, freshly cut grass. The swimming pool is nice too. We booked basic room but we did not expect it to be outdated, requiring refurbishment. At check, in the room was so smelly that we couldn't stand it, I guess, when days were passing by we just got used to the smell. Breakfast was continental but very limited on choices. Coffee: as in every hotel - horrible. It was instant cheap coffee. Bar service was also almost non-existant. Every day the quality of the drinks was different although served by the same young lady. One day espresso was nice and sufficient in quantity, the other day almost none. The beer was alsways served with half cup full of foam. We really enjoyed the inhouse taverna/restaurant. Food was amazing, tasty and fresh. Portions were big and the service excellent! The beach is also nice, but nothing extraordinary. Sea bed is full of stones but waters are clean. To be hounest, I don't think we will be back to this hotel again. Few years ago we were staying at Alexander The Great in Kassandra and it was absolutely fabulous compared to Porfi Beach Hotel in Sithonia."

Hotel miles from anywhere

"Lovely hotel that is miles from anywhere to allow you to switch off and unwind. Beach and water sports type of holiday as pool very small with limited sun loungers. Service okay but at times requests weren’t acted upon and going that extra mile as expected of a 5 star hotel. For example, we couldn’t be seated at the restaurant for dinner and the wait time was 30 minutes, instead of offering us drinks they told us to just sit in the bar and wait. There was also some confusion with the bill and again no real apology for the error they had made. Overall though we had a fantastic family holiday"
