"The best part of this property was the staff hospitality. Also the way they welcomed our group of motorcycles. Most places just check you in. This place offered preferred parking to all of us and even provided clean towels for us to use on our bikes everyday. Awesome stay!"

"Tiny little hotel redone from ages ago. Some rooms were small but that’s because it is such an old building. However, it has been beautifully redone and the people there were absolutely fantastic. I even got a hug with my breakfast! Karaoke and live music in the bar. A fantastic deal for breakfast. Very clean and plenty comfortable. Loved it!"

"Parking was well lit and convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast attendant was very vigilant and kept everything fresh and coming out hot! There were several workers present at breakfast and she kept everybody happy and fed."

"The cabin was extremely comfy, cozy, clean, beautiful and much larger than expected. A lot of attention to detail, plenty of blankets, towels, a well stocked kitchen, a writing desk, tons of games, we loved the recliners and there was ample seating on the beautiful deck (that has ceiling fans- great for heat and keeping bugs at bay). The hot tub under the stars was a definite plus! We didn't use the kayaks but I thought that was very kind of the owners to provide these. Owner communication was outstanding! Favorite part: sitting on the deck listening to nature and the fish jumping in the lake. The area is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees. The cabin is at the end of the subdivision so you hear no traffic, it is like you are in your own little world. Bonus: Location! The park next door (Empire Park) is fantastic. There are trails, fishing, disc golf and a playground that leads to the Taneycomo dam, which is great fishing. This then runs into a 5 mile Nature Trail that ends up in yet another park (Shadow Park.). So many opportunities for being outside. I would have given this cabin 10 stars if possible! We are already planning to come back next year. This cabin is your own little slice of paradise! "
