Family Friendly HotelPosted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean, the rooms were quiet and the food was excellent.
Cons: Air conditioning would be preferable in the rooms - but that's only because we stayed on the warmest days this year so far!
Location: Excellent location for shops. We took the kids to Lurgybrack Fun Farm and it was cheap at 6 euros each and the kids aged 7 and 8 had over 4 hours fun
We stayed on a 3 night break and we situated in a very quiet room which was very clean. The pool is 1.3m deep throughout, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming in it. We ate in the hotel each evening and the food was excellent, the service was fast and the choice varied. Letterkenny is a lovely town with lots to do for families.

Pleasant stay in nice hotel. Close to shopping centre. Breakfast usual buffet which was ok but nothing special.

Overall good staff. One problem was the bar was closed early. No smoking facilities are provided here for the person who likes to relax with a pint and cigarette

Too many maintanence issues.Posted Jun 8, 2015 on Hotels
I picked this hotel on the night over other hotels in the area because it was a Radisson and I expected high standards. I was disappointed. There were a few issues mainly due to lack of maintenance and I raise them here to highlight the issues for management. The main issue was, a continuous whistle/whine from the window due to strong winds outside, got very little sleep as a result. It was a south facing room. It should not be an issue with a relatively new hotel. Two other issues were warm but not hot water in the sink and stopper stuck in bath resulting in bath filling up when having a shower. I raised the issues on departure and the Manager did apologise and gave a discount which I appreciated.
