The hotel felt safe and the beds were fine, and the location is great. Overall, it feels like good value for staying right on The Diamond, but Donegal is small enough that perhaps staying slightly away from the centre would be fine too.”

“For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. The breakfast in the hotel was superb and with a beautiful lake view also. The staff are well trained, friendly, courteous and helpful. A……
