Newly refurbished Apartment overlooking the main town square
A blend of traditional Highland in a modern setting. Touches of Harris Tweed with loft style apartment living. Very comfortable, homely and stylish apartment in an ideal location in the town centre. The apartment location affords guests to take advantage of all Dornoch amenities as it is located on the main town square. Fully refurbished in December 2017 with a quality finish matched with all you would need to enjoy a great short break or longer stay in Dornoch. Views over the main square toward the Castle and Cathedral from the lounge and master bedroom. From the ground floor the entrance opens to a staircase.
First floor:
The master bedroom consists of a double bed, bedside units with lamps, fitted wardrobe and a wall mounted mirror. En suite shower with mains shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Second bedroom: 2 single beds, bedside units with lamps, fitted wardrobe and mirror. Family bathroom: Bath with mains shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Second floor: Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area: 2 x 2 seater settees, coffee table, Smart TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and a wall mounted electric fire. Dining table and chairs for 4 guests. Modern kitchen with electric oven, induction electric hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer plus ample kitchenware. The apartment has electric heating throughout. Wi-Fi is included at no extra cost. There is a selection of DVD's, books and games.
Guests have access to the entire property. Prior to your arrival, we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay. There are a number of restaurants, bars and shops in Dornoch within a couple of minutes' walk. Food shops: There is a Co-op, butcher, bakery and the Dornoch General Store. The Co-op is usually open until 10 pm. Tesco, Asda and Lidl supermarkets are in Tain which is a few miles south of Dornoch. A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands (especially when staying in Dornoch). There are bus routes that travel North and South of Dornoch. Taxis operate 24 hours of the day. No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM - 10 PM. Check out time is 10 am. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies: includes toilet rolls, complimentary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.
