"The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

"This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!"

"The staff was welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful. The breakfast was good but there was only one worker and she couldn't keep up. It wasn't her fault, they were just understaffed. Overall, a very nice place and I would definitely stay there again."
